Greetings, this is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today, I want to ask you, why is a worldwide Congress of Christian Constitutional Republics inevitable? For the last few months, we have been insisting that minimally we in the United States of America have the right and the intersection of circumstances to initiate a second American revolution against a tyranny that rivals that of King George III over the American colonies in 1776. We have just as much right.

I compared the circumstances then to the circumstances now and the variety of 28 different complaints and they mirror to an uncanny extent the tyrannies of King George III that the deep state puts over us. And to prove this, I spent four weeks combing the Declaration of Independence through each and every particular complaint that Thomas Jefferson painstakingly listed. And I did it to prove why the colonies were justified in separating from England and why we are justified in separating from the deep state of America in our own day.

And as we did this, we discovered that the substance of tyranny never changes, though the face of tyranny does over the passing of the centuries. We also made our appeal to Christian magistrates to step forward and work conscientiously towards that end and appealed as well to the people to support these magistrates as they do so. We also sketched what a Christian constitutional republic might look like in rudimentary form. And then lastly, we noted how none of this is remotely possible unless and until there is a great awakening to the things of God in America, a spiritual awakening, revival and reformation.

These are the absolute preconditions for making a Christian constitutional republic work in the United States of America. Well, okay, laboring for a Christian constitutional republic in the United States of America is one thing, but achieving it worldwide? Well, that's quite another. What makes anyone think for a moment that this is possible or even desirable? There are many Christians who would say, we shouldn't even be laboring for something like this.

But let me say right off the bat that before we go any further with those objections, number one, and there's four things I want to share with you. Number one, there is going to be a world government, so it might as well be Christian. That's my point. There is going to be a world government, so it might as well be Christian. Christian economist Gary North, he's one of my favorites.

Read him, anything he writes. Gary North has made this simple but salient point decades ago, and he's being proven correct in part A, that is there is going to be a world government, but will he be proven right in B, that it will be Christian? It used to be dismissed, the idea of a world government, dismissed condescendingly as a conspiracy theory that forces and powers were working to make a world government, but not any longer, right? We see the evidence around it so clearly. Worldwide rule and domination has always been the bauble that's dangled before men's eyes.

What did Satan say to our Lord in tempting him? He said, to you, I will give all this authority and their glory, that is the kingdoms of the world, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. If you then will worship me, it will all be yours. Oh, what a bauble to dangle before the eyes of the power hungry. And only recently has that deceptive, satanic promise come within reach of fulfillment.

We see all around us greedy, power-grasping hands are very close to seizing the levers of world power. It has, in part, been driven by what has become a world economy. I've treated of this in the past. As has always been the case, the rich and the powerful seek for ways to secure their wealth and power for tomorrow in an uncertain world. And government has always been the means by which this is achieved.

Politicians are indeed handmaidens to the rich, aren't they? And, of course, those in government have always been rewarded handsomely for passing the laws and wielding the sword on behalf of the interests of the rich. Now, while this was done locally in the early days of civilization, over the millennia, wealth and power have grown to nations. Nations begin to protect their wealthy and their privileged with politicians and government. And within the last few decades, the interests of the rich and the powerful transcend mere nations to encompass the world.

Buzzwords like world economy or transnational corporation. These are a standard feature of our lexicon today, aren't they? Now, I have tweeted of this in greater detail in my program of February 2nd, 2020. And it is cataloged on our website. February 2nd, 2020.

Look up that date on our website, omnisprotestas.org. O-M-N-I-S dash P-O-T-E-S-T-A-S dot org. That's omnisprotestas.org. That's Latin for all authority. All authority has been given to Christ.

And we have a website that deals with that authority of Christ. And the lesson that I am referencing from February 2nd, 2020 is entitled, A Christian Millennium. The deep state has corrupted our secular constitutional republic and must be destroyed. And there I chronicle for you why there is indeed the threat of and that we're on the brink of a world government. And in that lesson, I give you further documentation and resources that there's some very good reading that I've included for you to document all these things.

Well, suffice it to say that a world government is being fashioned, dear listener, but it's being fashioned without input from the church, from us. No one's asked me what I think of world government. The nations of the world have made treaties and formed ever larger, more complex governing bodies in order to secure the order now in place.

No encroachment, no intruders like you and me, the common man. The nations of the world. Yes, the European Union is a good example. It has a common currency. It's one visible example of this phenomenon, and it has some history already to show for it, aspiring towards world governments.

And although the European Union has met resistance in the last few decades, especially from Brexit, for example, as world government growing pains begin to surface, but I don't think in the long run this will stop the momentum towards world government. There's too much at stake. The powers that be are insisting, indeed, that there be a world government to protect their interests. And, of course, the most high-profile target of anti-one-worlders is the United Nations, that old bugaboo, the United Nations. America out of the UN and the UN out of America, right?

That's been the mantra of conservatives now, constitutional conservatives, for decades. And no one has fooled anyone, but perhaps the naive, brainwashed Pollyanna, that the goal of the United Nations has been anything except one world government. At least in the long run, piece by piece, increment by increment, the Fabian strategy of eating the elephant in small bites, rather than swallowing it whole, has been pretty much successful in attempting to build a world government. I used to hear the Jedi mind trick of, this is not the new world order you're looking for, right? Not here.

Nothing to see here. With that soothing assurance, oh, the United Nations is not meant as a world government, silly boy. No, the United Nations is only designed to bring world peace. Sounds so good, doesn't it? But now, the mask has begun to slip, and it has slipped sufficiently.

And I wonder if that's not a health mask that's beginning to slip. Seeing the dominance of the World Health Organization of the United Nations in this present pandemic, that mask has slipped sufficiently that we see with institutions like the World Court of the Hag, that can't wait to put Donald Trump on trial, or the World Health Organization, which has set the standard for dealing with this current pandemic, or UNICEF, which is the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. That sounds so world peaceful, doesn't it? But it's actually a bullying technique to get nations to do what they want, what the United Nations wants.

And it's just a front. Well, with the inception of institutions like these, we see that the United Nations ambitions to be functionally, for now, a world government, and depending upon other institutions or unions, which develop in reality. See, so, the United Nations. Now, when the church has offered an alternative to world government, it's always been one of resistance to it, right? To perhaps deny or decentralize rather than aggrandize.

That rather than to build a world government, it's always been to decentralize and to deny the world, the opportunity for world government. But mostly, the church has been silent and indifferent to these things. Jesus' response to the Roman procurator Pontius Pilate at his trial has become the byword for the evangelical church. Jesus told Pilate, My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting that I might not be delivered over to the Jews, but my kingdom is not from the world, unquote.

But, of course, this encomium, this cliche, is not speaking of the final goal and dominion of his kingdom. Rather, what Jesus was talking about was the source and origin of that kingdom. Christ's kingdom is sourced in heaven. And Christ's power, his purpose, his mission, were from there. There he was saving a people for heaven and earth at the cross and at the tomb when he was raised from the dead.

There he was saving a people for heaven and earth. And these people would be co-heirs with him. We, the church, co-heirs with Christ of all creation. All of the nations, peoples, lands, and realms of creation would be his. Zechariah puts it this way in speaking of the Messiah.

He shall speak peace to the nations. His rule shall be from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth. Zechariah 9, verse 10. Consequently, we Christians have every motive to insist that the world government that is on the horizon be an explicitly Christian one. And that brings me then to my second point.

Number two, we Christians, we, the church, should self-consciously direct our impact. But we must become more and more aware of who we are and of the influence and the power that we actually have and that Christ is wielding in the world even now. Because Christianity right now is the largest religion in the world. When you take all of the denominations, all of the professing Christians of the world, we number 2.5 billion, 33% of the world's population. No one even comes close.

Islam is gaining in adherents. They are presently at 1.8 billion adherents throughout the world, 24% of the world's population. But the Christian faith is still the most numerous and it's still growing. Christ promised his parable of the mustard seed, the little mustard seed of which Jesus spoke. It's taking its place now as the largest of plants.

Jesus said, with what can we compare the kingdom of God or what parable shall we use for it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which when sown on the ground is the smallest of all the seeds on earth. Yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches so that the birds of the year can make nests in its shade. That's the parable of the mustard seed. And lo and behold, see, look, behold, on every continent of the world, every island of the world, the church can be found.

We're everywhere. And the church seriously underestimates its power and influence. We could actually determine the course of government around the world if we chose to, if we rose up, if we realize who we are. But presently, however, we are so divided and fragmented that we cannot affect the outcome in our present state. With all of the denominations, all of the sects of Christianity around the world, we are divided and fragmented.

Our unity in Christ, the whole Christ church, is united in the body of Christ. Indeed, that is the true reality, despite, excuse me, what we see around us in all the denominations and sects of Christianity. Those of us in Christ are certainly united to him. And our unity is often lost in our doctrinal and denominational divisions.

And this, of course, is in addition to the misunderstanding I mentioned previously, that the separation between church and state is absolute, and that we, the church, as J. Vernon McGee used to say, you may remember that fine old Baptist preacher, I loved him, from the 70s, who nevertheless, I would disagree with him here on this, he used to say with great effect that the church should not soil the garments of the gospel with politics, culture, and society. That's not the case at all, really, truly. And the powers that be, they are content with this state of affairs, of course.

In fact, they do everything in their own power to keep us distracted and disunited. This serves their purposes of uniting the world under a pagan banner. Remember what Hopper, the grasshopper, said to his cohorts about the ants, right, from the movie A Bug's Life. I've watched that with my kids many times. And the grasshoppers, of course, had the ants in subjection and in deception too.

Well, Hopper says to his fellow grasshoppers at one point, and he says, you let one ant stand up to us and they all might stand up. Those punny little ants outnumber us 100 to one. And if they ever figure that out, there goes our way of life. Hopper, right? And that's exactly what the world order, the new world order, is saying behind closed doors about us, about us Christians.

The new world order, as it has begun to develop in taking over a world government, has to keep us in line and it has to keep us ignorant. If the church ever figured out that we outnumber them a million or so to one, there goes their way of life. So at some point, and I would maintain this strongly, I'm very optimistic about where the church is going to be and what it's going to do and achieve.

At some point in the next 100, maybe a thousand years, who knows, as we become more and more self-conscious of our collective power and influence in the unity of our Savior, Jesus Christ, you will see, we will begin to focus our energies and will as his church, as Christ's church, in establishing a just and equitable world government. That indeed will be the case. Well, number three, according then to that line of thinking, let me share with you point three. That is, we must not forfeit our heritage, but build upon it.

Yes, brother and sister, I feel our heritage here in America of a constitutional republic is slipping away and we must not forfeit it, but rather we must turn and build on it, make it stronger and add more to the next generation. The church in America, unfortunately, has grown fat, lazy, negligent of its rights. Fat, lazy, negligent of its rich heritage in freedom and liberty. Look what our founders have given us. And this so-called panic pandemic is exhibit A.

We're letting it all slip away, brothers and sisters, our liberties, our constitution, our freedom. Ronald Reagan said very perceptively, and I quote him, he said, freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same. Or one day, we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Unquote. Oh, rue the day. May that never happen in our generation, dear brothers and sisters. The great experiment that is the United States of America has shown in its relatively brief history that the constitutional republic is the best form of government for a free people. And ever since our revolution, the American revolution, we've seen the peoples of the world have sought to copy it and to adapt it and to make it their own.

And this must continue. This must go on. Perhaps we can improve upon the constitutional republic. I have my own suggestions, of course, and you heard them last week, that we do so according to a Christian constitutional republic. But heretofore, no one has come up with a better form of government than that of a Christian constitutional republic.

And we owe it to future generations to propagate it and to trumpet it, to educate and to inculcate a constitutional republic in the hearts and minds of our children and of their children, our children's children. It must go on. It must be passed on. It is a heritage that we need to hand on and hand off then to our children and the next generations. Indeed, somebody asked Ben Franklin when he stepped out of the constitutional convention as it was concluding.

He says, well, Mr. Franklin, what form of government have you given us? And Franklin turned to him and said, a republic if you can keep it. Unquote. Indeed, how perceptive that statement was. We have a republic if we can keep it, brothers and sisters, but we're letting it slip away.

Do not let the rich heritage of the constitutional republic with all our liberties, all the freedoms that we enjoy, do not let that slip away. Don't be negligent. Fight for it. Retain it. Hold on to it and propagate it.

Hand it off to the next generation and hand it off to the next country as well. If indeed this is God's form, chosen form of government, it will be propagated. It will be handed on and it will flourish in other places as well.

There will be unique characteristics to every republic as there are around the world, whether it's the Swiss republic that we're talking about or the Scots republic that we're talking about or republics around the world that vary and differ because of different cultures and peoples and traditions and so forth, but the idea, the core of a republic is indeed inherent to God the government and if this is God's chosen means of government, it will be propagated, it will be passed on. So let us not lose our heritage but strongly fortify it and hand it on to future generations.

The Christian constitutional republic is a model that should be replicated around the world. Well then, what should logically be aimed for by the respective constitutional republics that come into being is a world congress of Christian constitutional republics as well.

Once we do indeed inculcate Christian constitutional republics around the world, then we can begin to form a world government and we'll talk more about this in the future to the idea of a congress of Christian constitutional republics around the world with this congress each being represented by the respective Christian constitutional republics around the world then sending representatives to a congress of republics so that issues of worldwide impact can be decided and then we have a world government that is indeed tempered by true biblical justice ruled by Christ and consequently diverges then from the evil elite to indeed the good and the beneficial for all of mankind and not just the special privileges of the elite which is precisely what's happening in the formation of the world government now a pagan world government which would you rather have? Well then whether or not this will happen has already been determined if I might underline that with you and that brings me to point number four because Christ rule is foreordained yes for those of you that may try to do everything in your power than to frustrate and to foreclose this idea of a Christian constitutional republic or a congress of Christian constitutional republics around the world let me just reassure you if indeed God's word is true well Christ rule has already been foreordained it's going to happen that's why we Christians can have such confidence and while the church goes on debating the separation of church and state and while the world does everything in its power to make us forget God's promises and that world fights to establish its own pagan kingdom well well well let me tell you Christ is making good on his prophetic heritage Isaiah puts it this way about the Messiah he says for to us a child is born to us a son is given we often hear this around Christmas but this is one that we can preach all year that child of course is the Christ the Messiah for to us a child is born to us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder in his name shall be called wonderful counselor mighty God everlasting father prince of peace of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end on the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore the zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this and the zeal of the Lord of hosts dear brothers is accomplishing this even now many Christians take this as a far flung future event that only upon his return will this be true that the government will be on his shoulders and of the increase of his government there will be no end but I submit reign over the nations and he will complete that task in history Revelation tells us the choirs of heaven saying we give thanks to you Lord God almighty who is and who was for you have taken your great power and begun to reign and that's already been happening since Christ's ascension being seated at the right hand of his father so in answer to the question then dear listener is a worldwide Congress of Christian Constitutional Republic inevitable we must say yes it is inevitable because God has so foreordained it I look forward to that day let us both labor towards that end brother and sister in days to come and maybe see it transpire in our own lifetimes indeed a Christian millennium a Congress of Christian Constitutional Republic indeed inevitable this has been Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church we urge you to join us for worship on Sunday at 10 a.m. we meet at 101 4th Street on the corner of 4th and Boulevard and I invite you to join us at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings or
