Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth, where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today, I want to ask you, why is it that we need to set aside the secular Constitution of the United States in favor of an explicitly Christian Constitution? Now, last week, I outlined a plan for a world government composed of a Congress of Christian Constitutional Republics. That came as a surprise and maybe even a shock to many people that a Christian is actually advocating a world government.

But there's going to be a world government, and it might as well be Christian. And what I gave is a design for the millennia, that is for the next thousand years. And this Christian Constitutional Republic, a Congress of Christian Constitutional Republics, would replace the present travesty of the United Nations. That needs to be replaced, which has thus far united no one, brought peace nowhere, and solved nothing of the world's problems in the history of its existence, right? It's been entirely impotent in bringing any kind of blessing to the earth.

In fact, an argument can be made that it has rather fostered war, conflict, and misery to a greater degree than it has eased it. And I'll make that argument in days to come, too. But for now, I want to give a brief overview as to why it has become necessary to lay out a long-range strategy to build a new world based upon a new principle, which is really an old principle that we seem to have forgotten.

And just one small sample should suffice from the Scriptures because Isaiah 9 says, verses 6 and 7, for to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace, there will be no end, right? And this government that the Bible talks about is not for some airy-fairy age to come, some literal thousand-year period when Jesus will reign in some dispensational kingdom in a Jewish Jerusalem after a seven-year great tribulation in the Battle of Armageddon.

Rather, this government is a government for the ages, for our time, and is meant to be actualized before our Lord's return. And the psalmist says as much in Psalm chapter 2, ask of me and I will make the nations your heritage and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Oh, dear listener, Christ is meant to rule the nations now. He is to have dominion in this age.

As John points out in Revelation, then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also, I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Ah, but before that vision can be fulfilled, dear listener, the ground must be cleared of the underbrush of demonic tyranny that we are now experiencing. Whether you realize it or not, wake up, dear listener.

Oh, the government, as we now know it, must be utterly destroyed and replaced. It is too late to be redeemed. The constitutional republic established by our founding fathers is beyond repair. It is a fact that really is apparent to anyone with eyes in their head. Wake up, dear listener.

Well, let me lay out these facts in support of my thesis. First of all, fact number one, the permanent bureaucracy or the deep state has gradually replaced, excuse me, replaced we the people as the ultimate authority in our frame of government. Yes, the deep state has replaced we the people as the authority in our frame of government. Let me lead with an example here. In ancient Rome, the Praetorian Guard was the elite of the elite of all the Roman legions.

They were the smartest and most skilled warriors in all of Rome and they guarded the life of the emperor, much like the secret service does for the president of the United States. But over the centuries, they, the Praetorian Guard, became more powerful than any individual emperor. Much like the elected representatives in our own system, the emperors came and went every few years. But the Praetorian Guard remained.

They provided continuity of power throughout Rome when a crisis developed and they helped the incoming emperor learn the reins of power and the Praetorian Guard helped him adapt to the ins and outs, the intricacies and subtleties of the Roman court. But gradually, almost imperceptibly, the Praetorian Guard, because of its permanent status in Rome, like the deep state in America, the Praetorian Guard soon became more powerful than the senate or the emperor or either combined and indeed began to dictate to the emperor and the senate. And the Praetorian Guard set up and deposed emperors of their own choosing.

And although the original intention for the Praetorian Guard was for it to serve the empire of Rome, in the end, the Praetorian Guard ended up being served by the empire of Rome. They became rich and powerful at the expense of the empire. Behold the deep state, dear listener, the permanent bureaucracy. The deep state is the equivalent of the Praetorian Guard of Rome. Like emperors, presidents and congressmen come and go every few years, don't they, depending on their length of terms.

But the vast octopus-like deep state abides decade after decade, just like the Praetorian Guard, who can cut off even one of the octopuses' tentacles, dear listener. Ronald Reagan, for an example, said he would end the National Education Administration, begun by his predecessor, Jimmy Carter. But instead, Ronald Reagan went away while the NEA burgeoned into a monster bureaucracy, draining tax dollars while brainwashing our children in the public school system to always vote Democrat instead of educating them. Johnny cannot even read his own diploma, but he'll vote Democrat his whole life, courtesy of public schools.

Now, Ron Paul also made a theme of his term in office, the auditing and abolishing of the Federal Reserve. And instead, Ron Paul's long and distinguished career is now over, and that's no fault of his, while the Federal Reserve continues to rob and cheat the American people by manipulating our currency. And also, we've seen, just in general, countless crusaders have stepped forward to curtail and rein in various tentacles of the deep state, like the IRS or the Federal Drug Administration or the Environmental Protection Agency, all of them.

Instead, each of these constitutionally elected advocates have faded into obscurity while the deep state agents accumulate more and more power and influence. Our constitutional system is an unmitigated wreck. Open your eyes. Our accountable elected representatives, that is our congressman and president, were designed to do the things that the deep state is doing, that is making laws and executing their enforcement in a limited, constrained field of action. Instead, the field of action has expanded to every corner of the people's lives, and the bureaucrats who run the agencies are accountable to no one.

They do as they please, and they're pleased as well when they do us. One of the many things for which we must congratulate President Trump is the way in which he has exposed the deep state for what it is, a vindictive, self-serving state within a state. Nothing has brought out of the slime, the dingy creatures of the swamp, more than Trump's promise to drain the swamp. Oh, and how the swamp creatures have rallied to get rid of Trump. Impeachment didn't begin this year.

Last year, dear listener, it was promised by Democrats even before he was elected. And the evil bureaucrats in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department, these evil bureaucrats had an insurance policy to get rid of Trump with a fake special counsel investigation of Robert Mueller. And Trump has been betrayed again and again by his own aides, who are loyal to the deep state and not to the Constitution. The deep state has an inertia of its own, dear listener. Behind the deep state lies billions of billions of dollars, decades of tradition, no accountability, and power to dictate our lives, limited only by our own credulity.

Oh, the American people must put an end to the deep state. No other will do. We have brought this on ourselves, dear listener. We have asked for more and more, selfish and greedy as we are, and we have given the government more and more of our resources and time and power. And we have continued in the last analysis to get less and less.

When is enough enough? When will the American people say thus far and no further? When will we say we the people instead of you the state? Oh, for the deep state, the Constitution is a barrier to be overcome. We must understand this, dear listener.

For the deep state, the Constitution is not something to be celebrated, but a barrier to be overcome. Its cumbersome checks and balances, its division of government into three branches is inefficient and obsolete. And for those in the deep state who swear allegiance to the Constitution in their oath of office, well, that's a mere formality that they must perform to get power. But as soon as their left hand comes off the Bible and their right hand is lowered, those hands grope for your pockets and for your throat. The Constitution be damned.

Oh, dear listener, for the deep state, under the understanding of the deep state, for the American system to work in this day and age, they tell themselves, the consensus is behind closed doors that the Constitution must actually be subverted, undermined, streamlined and altered, all the while giving the appearance to the American people who generally love the Constitution, of its being defended against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Right?

The Constitution's actual domestic enemies, the deep state, these domestic enemies, drag the Constitution out and they invoke it when it serves the purposes of power-possessed demons like Nancy Pelosi or Adam Schiff or Jerry Nadler, who drape themselves in the precious Constitution by impeaching the president when in reality they are subverting the very document they pretend to invoke. This has gone on for decades. It is now coming out into the open more and more. The deep state has been quietly making the Constitution irrelevant. Bureau by Bureau, bureaucrat by bureaucrat, dollar by dollar as the years go by.

For the deep state, the people are foolish sheep to be led when they are not bovine cattle to be milked and slaughtered. For the deep state, in their hubris, they are the important ones, the sine qua non, without whom there would be no USA. And you and I are disposable trolls, useless eaters, mere servants of the state. Why, without them in their mind, there would be no we the people. Huh?

The deep state. That is point number one. Why the American system, as it is presently constituted, must be uprooted and destroyed. Secondly, the second reason why this is true, why the American system now, as we presently have it and understand it, must be destroyed, is because a global elite has quietly betrayed the United States. A global elite, dear conspiracy theorist, a global elite has quietly betrayed the United States of America by selling our economy to the highest bidder, compromised our military strength by selling our technology and ceding our national interests to foreign powers.

And this global elite has facilitated the imposition of a world government upon us. Oh, the very idea of a global elite used to be a conspiracy theory in the mainstream media. Oh, but time and experience have shown us that there is indeed a cabal of wealthy, power-obsessed elites who desire nothing less than to impose a worldwide agenda on the rest of us, no longer a conspiracy theory. And if you then characterize me as a conspiracy theorist, then I come back at you and say that you are a naive, brainwashed Pollyanna to think that the government loves you. It only wants to serve you.

Yes, right? Yes, it wants to serve you. Rare, medium, and well done is how they want to serve you. And the fact, then, that there is a power-obsessed elite who want to impose a worldwide agenda on the rest of us is quite apparent to anyone not under the spell of the Jedi mind tricks of the deep state, like, oh, these are not the enemies of the Republic you're looking for. There's nothing here to see.

Move along now, right? If you're still skeptical of this reality that I sketch for you, I urge you to consult several mainstream books that only begin to peel back the veil of this truth. And I urge you to these books. Number one is a book called Superclass, The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making by David Rothkopf. Yes, in the very title is the situation I described to you.

Superclass, The Global Power Elite and the World They're Making by David Rothkopf. And this book has moved among them for decades. This guy, David Rothkopf, has moved among the global elite for decades. And he makes his fortune advising them on world issues. So this is a good resource.

Secondly, one I like even better is a book called Plutocrats. Plutocrats, not the dog, but the wealthy, the Plutocrats, The Rise of the New Global Super Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else, unquote, by Chrystia Freeland. I love the title of that book. It describes it all, doesn't it? The Rise of the New Global Super Rich in the Fall of Everyone Else.

And Chrystia Freeland was a journalist based in New York and London, and she has reported on international finance for years, so she knows of which she speaks. And these two subtitles of these books says it all. There is a global power elite making a world in which their fortunes and power are secure. And whether you are conscious of it or not, a new global super rich have risen on the backs of and at the expense of the rest of us. It is international in scope.

Freeland estimates that on a planet of 7 billion people, there are perhaps 6,000 to 7,000 of the new super rich whose fortunes run into the billions of dollars and are so strategically woven into the fabric of the world's economy that this economy must be managed, they say, and it must be controlled on a global scale if it is to be stable and secure. And of course, what they mean by stable and secure is that their fortunes and interests are to be protected and secured. Yes, the fortunes and interests of the new global elite in this new economy must be protected and secured.

Oh, consequently, governments must be influenced as much as possible to create policy that secures a stable and profitable outcome for them, not for us. This is nothing new in history, of course, from the moment the first caveman stashed more mastodon steaks than he could eat and more bearskin hides than he could wear. And he moved into a more spacious cave than his neighbor. Well, since then, men have tried to secure their wealth and make sure that access to it would be there tomorrow. What is different today is that the global power elite are now doing this on a global scale, not just locally or even nationally.

And rightly or wrongly, government has more often than not been the handmaiden to the rich, serving the interest of the rich in exchange for wealth and security themselves. Oh, enter the American politician. If you want to know what motivates the American politician, look no further. If traditionally government is handmade to the rich, well, then the politicians in our government are abject whores to the rich. Rather than detail this minutely, I once again refer you to the man who, more than anyone else, has pointed out that the emperor has no clothes, and that is author Peter Schweitzer.

Yes, he has authored many books, but the ones you must read if you're going to understand the point I'm trying to make are these. Number one, a book called Extortion by Peter Schweitzer. And the subtitle, How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets. Oh, that's a good book. I read that.

That was an eye-opener. And then secondly, Clinton Cash, The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Help Make Bill and Hillary Rich, a book by Peter Schweitzer. Thirdly, then, Secret Empires, Peter Schweitzer. The book, Secret Empires, subtitled, How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends. Yes, that is the one book I would recommend you read above all others, Secret Empires.

And then fourthly, Profiles in Corruption, Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite. Oh, just in time for the Democrat nomination, right? Peter Schweitzer. And when you introduce the two, that is the global elite with the American politician, you have that toxic marriage that I've mentioned above. That is, a global elite has quietly betrayed the United States by selling our economy to the highest bidder, betrayed us by compromising our military strength in selling our technology and ceding our national interest to foreign powers.

And the global elite have also facilitated the imposition of a world government on us. Now, while many examples could be cited, let me refer you to one, and that is the bought and paid for lackeys of the Chinese government. There are indeed bought and paid for lackeys. In the American government. And they're working against the interest of the American people.

Stretching back to the 90s, for example, back to the 90s, when L'Oreal, some of you are too young to remember this, but back in the 90s, L'Oreal sold classified military technology to China. The Clintons, being a very important part of this, they have made millions of dollars from China in lucrative trade deals that compromise our own place and position in the world economy, and it's all to the advantage of the Chinese.

Also, on a nonpartisan basis, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell is married to a lovely Chinese woman who, strategically and coincidentally, is related to wealthy and well-placed Chinese families in the power structure of the Communist Party. A number of business arrangements in China have netted the McDonald's millions of dollars. And then lastly, another example, Senator Dianne Feinstein. This is an egregious example, who is chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Well, she had a Chinese spy on her staff for 20 years who funneled top-secret information to the Chinese handlers.

And Feinstein mysteriously has made millions of dollars in Chinese investments, quote-unquote, over that same period. Oh, dear listener, these are but a few egregious examples. This incestuous marriage of government and finance has contributed to the corruption of our constitutional republic. Precisely because the modern world economy is global, well, then local provincial barriers must be taken down so that a more efficient world system can be created to secure the global wealth of the elites. And one of those barriers, indeed, the major barrier in the eyes of the global elite is the American constitution.

Dear listener, this is one reason why it has been so dangerous to the American constitutional system for the deep state to be active as it is, the global elite to be active as they are. The American constitution for these stands as the charter of an independent people who determine their own course apart from the dictates of elites who are protecting their interests. And so it must be taken away. As long as the constitution stands, America cannot be controlled. Trump's America first slogan is garlic to a vampire when it reaches the ears of these global elites.

America first. Can you see why they hate it? It grates. They gnash their teeth because it threatens to upset the sweetheart deals they have made with American politicians and the neat arrangements being made all over the globe, including the United Nations. If indeed global wealth must be managed by global government, then the United Nations stands ready to handle to hand as a good beginning to form a world system.

Yeah, the UN stands ready to hand as a good beginning to form a world system. But to their mind, the global elites, the United Nations is only in its infant stages. It must be nursed while the independence of America must be starved. These are the real reasons the deep state is trying to get rid of Trump and why he is so hated. He threatens their soft, cushy vulture's nests in a swamp where globalism is being nursed like a deformed beast on the breast of Mordor.

Everyone else who entered the swamp did so expecting to be enriched in exchange for favorable votes in legislation, whether it compromised the people or not. And so, ironically, dear listener, all of the hand-wringing and crocodile tears over quid pro quo in Trump's impeachment is laughable, since that is the operating principle of the swamp. This for that, quid pro quo, Trump is beginning to expose the betrayal, yea, the treasonous behavior of those in the deep state who took their oath of office cynically, with their fingers crossed behind their backs.

Trump has disrupted the global timeline of the elites who are determined, nevertheless, to complete the political and economic structure which will secure their interest for the foreseeable future. So make no mistake, dear listener, a world government is coming. It is inevitable. What we must decide as free Americans is this, of what character and nature will that world government be? And the most logical biblical answer is that of a Congress of Christian constitutional republics spread across the world.

It demands first and foremost securing a Christian constitutional republic for ourselves here. Then it requires that we foster and encourage free peoples with their own Christian constitution, with its own distinctive features for their own culture and traditions, perhaps. Yes, this must be done, dear listener. Man up, wake up, and see what we must do to utterly destroy the deep state and the structures that we have now and replace it with a Christian constitutional republic.
