Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today, I want to ask America, can we please move on from reacting to the China virus out of a herd instinct and graduate to striving to achieve the gold standard of safety, and that is herd immunity? It is too bad we have not heard more about herd immunity during this time.

I think it is in part because the sooner we reach this blessed plateau of herd immunity, the sooner the political control of our herd drovers and big pharma profits, they will plateau as well. Now, the CDC defines herd immunity as a situation in which a sufficient proportion of a population is immune to an infectious disease to make it spread from person to person unlikely, unquote. Now, when lots of people are immune, fewer people get sick and fewer germs and virus are able to spread from person to person. WebMD.com has a brief, accurate article on what herd immunity is and when we achieve it. And I quote now from that article.

Herd immunity or community immunity, that has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Community immunity is when a large part of the population of an area is immune to a specific disease. If enough people are resistant to the cause of a disease, such as a virus or bacteria, it has nowhere to go. While not every single individual may be immune, the group as a whole has protection. This is because there are fewer high-risk people overall.

The infection rates drop and the disease peters out. Herd immunity protects at-risk populations. And these include babies and those whose immune systems are weak and can't get resistance on their own, unquote. Nice, pithy definition on what herd immunity is. This is so much better than a stupid strategy.

We have a adopted here in the United States, and that is isolation. Isolation is the strategy we have adopted, like China. We quarantine all the healthy rather than just the sick or the vulnerable, as it has been done throughout history. And by doing so, we destroy our economy in the process. And we see death rates from other diseases and health conditions skyrocket because they go untreated.

For example, I cited this in another piece from City Journal, Mr. Joel Zinberg, who composed this article on July 9th of this year. He has the article, Death by Policy. And he says, and I quote, the five states with the most COVID-19 deaths from March through April, and those states were Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. These states experienced large proportional increases in deaths from non-respiratory underlying causes. So it couldn't be COVID, right?

And these include diabetes, in which there was a 96% increase, heart diseases, in which there were 89% increase, Alzheimer's disease, 64% increase, and cerebrovascular disease, a 35% increase in deaths, unquote. Dear listener, only now are we beginning to see the unintended consequences of such a stupid strategy on our land. All that isolation does, really, in effect, is delay the inevitable exposure of those isolated in quarantine to the virus. It will and must happen eventually, this exposure.

Now, Dr. Jane Orient, who is the executive director of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, she says that reaching the threshold of herd immunity depends upon, and I quote her, whether we allow people to move around. If we lock everybody into solitary confinement, they won't get immune, unquote. If we put everybody in isolation, if we put everybody in solitary confinement, we won't get immune, dear listener. This cannot be overemphasized.

All of the stupid measures that have been and are now being employed by our fascist governors to lock us down, to isolate us, and quarantine the healthy, all that does is delay the inevitable while destroying the avoidable. We can't avoid crippling the economy, spiking deaths from other causes like cancer and heart disease, suicides and diabetes, and we can avoid creating an ugly, cultic new normal, and we can do it by reopening America and leaving her open. Oh, I want to recommend to you the Great Barrington Declaration. This is getting around, and you'll see this more and more.

The Great Barrington Declaration, which is signed by over 47 highly respected and competent physicians and epidemiologists and researchers and professors from around the world, in a conference on October 4th of this year, the Great Barrington Declaration says, and I quote, the most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally, to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this focused protection.

The Great Barrington Declaration causes this strategy, calls this strategy, excuse me, focused protection. They go on to say, those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick, should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. This is common sense. We do this all the time, don't we, parenthetically?

They go on to say, schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young, low-risk adults should work normally rather than from home. Restaurants and other activities should, and other businesses should open, excuse me. Arts, music, sport, and other cultural activities should resume.

People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity. Unquote. Oh, dear listener, be warned. Be warned, because there is a focused, coordinated campaign by those with self-interest against the idea of herd immunity. Oh, this is anathema to the mainstream media, to big pharma, to government.

It is the knee-jerk reaction. This campaign against the idea of herd immunity is the knee-jerk reaction of the mainstream media. Whenever it's brought up, it is witheringly attacked as an ineffective strategy versus isolation and the medical tyranny that's being imposed on us. But always remember, dear listener, herd immunity is not a strategy. It is a stasis.

It's not a strategy. It's a stasis. Herd immunity means that an infection has reached a state of equilibrium. That's the idea of stasis, a state of equilibrium. Herd immunity means that an infection has reached this state of equilibrium.

It is no longer infecting the general population significantly because sufficient antibodies have been created by our immune system such that few are getting infected or becoming sick. That's the idea. That's the goal. A true strategy towards this stasis, herd immunity, is one advocated by the Great Barrington Declaration, and that is focused protection. Focused protection is a strategy.

Here, the vulnerable are protected. Those most likely to be adversely affected are isolated, not the whole general population. Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal, as the Declaration says. Dear listener, our God-given immune systems will create the stasis required that is herd immunity. Let our God-given immune systems work.

So, while herd immunity is the ideal, a lesser condition has overwhelmed America. Rather than herd immunity, we are experiencing herd instinct, aren't we? Herd instinct. Ah, the definition of herd instinct is the obedience of the individual to the mass blindly and without reflection. Unquote.

That is the Oxford English Dictionary definition of herd immunity. And it's what America is in the middle of, isn't it? The obedience of the individual to the mass blindly and without reflection. Most Americans just haven't done their homework. I see this on an anecdotal basis all the time.

The people who wear masks all the time, who do hand washing and wear gloves and are just fastidious about the six-foot separation. All of these, when I inquire a little closer, have not done their homework to see if indeed what they're doing is a goal towards herd immunity or whether it's this blind herd instinct. It's usually the latter. Under the right circumstances, the herd instinct is a good survival instinct. When one wildebeest, for example, on the African savanna spots a lion on the hunt and uses its God-given adaptation at his speed to flee, the wildebeest herd follows and survives.

That herd doesn't have to see the lion to verify its presence before fleeing. It follows the mask, blindly and without reflection. Only the weak and the old fall behind then and are thus culled from the herd by the lion. This phenomenon has occurred in human history too. For example, from the 3rd to the early 5th century, whole populations in Europe fled from the barbarian hordes that invaded in great sweeping waves, and they were raping, pillaging, and burning, killing as they went.

No one had to see or meet a barbarian in order to get out of dodge with all due haste. The herd instinct caused many to survive who would have otherwise perished. During this period as well, the demographics of Europe changed significantly as whole new populations resettled in areas previously unknown. So the herd instinct has changed history. For better or worse, the herd instinct is changing American history today.

It's changing our history. Just as fear drives the wildebeest on and on through the savannah, just as fear drove the 3rd century European on and on blindly without reflection into unknown territory, so today fear is driving the herd of Americans on and on blindly without reflection into unknown territory. And I submit to you that is tyranny. Because while the herd instinct can save lives, herd instinct can also destroy them. Lion prides work together to use the wildebeest's herd instinct to drive them in massed waves, fleeing in fear to waiting members of the pride.

Over time, yes, and evolution has taught them that this is a successful strategy. And the Plains Indians as well used to drive buffalo herds in massed waves, fleeing in fear, over cliffs, using that herd instinct to harvest a winter's bounty of protein. And famously, the lemmings' herd instinct drives them blindly, without reflection, over the cliffs of Dover into the sea. Dear listener, like lemmings, the herd instinct is destroying us, not saving us. Like cattle, the herd instinct is driving us to follow unthinkingly, unthinkingly, excuse me, the rear end in front of us, wherever it might lead.

Because we are afraid, dear listener, because we are afraid, we unthinkingly follow the rear end in front of us and strap on a face diaper, that stupid mask, which does nothing to protect you. See my recorded spot of three weeks ago. In that, I cite Dr. Dennis Rancourt, who has a PhD in physics at the University of Ottawa. He's also a seasoned professor of research and investigation. And he published in April of 2020, a paper entitled, Masks Don't Work.

Masks Don't Work. It's a very good article. He cites seven different studies which demonstrate this. But masks also reduce our oxygen intake, and they create a virtual petri dish of infection in the mask itself. And they also end up warping human identity to tragic anonymity.

And all of this, all of this to satisfy the ignorant superstitions of twisted authoritarian bureaucrats who love lording it over you. Have you noticed that? They aren't keeping you safe. Masks. Rather, masks are keeping you subdued.

They're not keeping you safe. They're keeping you subdued. Face masks are an empty placebo that makes you feel like you're doing something to stay safe. But which, in reality, due to its debilitating side effects, that mask is making you prone to greater sickness. Eighty percent of those with the China virus in one study were faithful mask wearers.

Oh, and then we also unthinkingly follow the rear end in front of us because we're afraid. Out of fear, we unthinkingly follow the rear end in front of us and huddle down in our apartments and homes and let our lives die and wither away in the vine in lockdown because we're told to by authority. We are deliberately alarmed by the mainstream media over cases which are steadily rising. And so we must huggle back under lockdown, hide under your bed. But, dear listener, what is a case of COVID?

What are cases? Well, a case is anyone who has tested positive for the virus. But that, as we have seen in the past, is a term so ambiguous as to be utterly meaningless. For example, the PCR test, the polymerase chain reaction, that's the standard by which all are tested now. The PCR test was never designed for medical applications but strictly for research and forensic uses.

This PCR test is so unreliable that close to 50 percent of the so-called positives are false positives. Remember, Elon Musk tested positive twice and negative twice, all in the same day. Dear listener, I urge you to check out Nick Delgado and his The Delgado Protocol, where he has an excellent article on the Wizard of Oz level sleight of hand that's being practiced on the American people with a misleading notion of cases. Now, what the PCR test does is very cleverly search for traces of coronavirus. Any coronavirus, however, not just COVID-19.

And consequently, you may test positive for a simple cold virus and be identified with the China virus. It's a sham. Medical reporter Stacy Lennox calls using cases as an index of the number of people infected with COVID-19, she calls it, and I quote, ridiculous, misleading, and alarmist for many reasons. And you'll find her at PJ Media, an article from October 5th of this year. She says, the PCR test does not detect a live virus.

For a virus to infect an individual or be transmitted to another person, it must be capable of replication. The PCR does not measure the ability of the material detected to make additional copies of itself. It is appropriate to use the word material because the PCR test looks for pieces of the virus's RNA. It does not require a complete RNA strand to return a positive result, unquote. Oh, additionally, dear listener, the PCR test is incapable of measuring quantity of the virus, which is a very important element.

And whether you get sick or not, your immune system must be overwhelmed by a certain quantity of the virus before you begin to weaken and even show symptoms. Quantity is also crucial to communicating the virus to the virus to others. That is, with viral shed. Just because you test positive for a coronavirus, not even necessarily COVID-19, does not mean you are shedding communicable quantities of COVID-19 to others. Remember, I cited Dr. David Raznick, who is a biochemist and a protease developer.

So this is right up his alley. He deals with these things every day. He says, I'm skeptical that a PCR test is ever true. It's a great scientific research tool. It is a horrible tool for clinical medicine, unquote.

Oh, dear listener, in the light of these facts, the concept, the very concept of cases is so ambiguous as to be utterly meaningless. It amounts to a scare tactic to stampede the human herd, which the mainstream media and our political drovers have done very effectively. Oh, there's nothing that sells newspapers faster or drives people to their TVs every night to get their fix of COVID cult lies from Fox and CNN than reports on cases. Oh, the misleading concept of cases is enough, as Stacey Lennox puts it, to make people with a medical background want to tear their hair. But this makes little difference to the panicked human herd, doesn't it?

Makes little difference to the panicked human herd, which has been stampeded into measures calculated to destroy the cattle's economy or our human relationships and, ironically, our very health. And that's owing to the consequences of fear and neglect of other conditions and diseases that go untreated because of COVID cold conditioning. In one of my favorite westerns of all time, dear listener, Red River, there is captured one of the greatest cattle stampedes ever caught on film.

A vast, restless herd on its way from Texas to Kansas is on the edge as John Wayne, who is the owner and the trail boss, tries to keep the cattle calm as a violent lightning storm is brewing. But alas, a huge clap of thunder and a flash of lightning panics the herd, and one steer after another follows the rear end in front of them at full gallop until the camp is destroyed, the herd is scattered, and multiple cattle trampled to death, as well as one of the drovers. Oh, welcome to America 2020.

Your trail bosses and drovers have engineered a huge clap of thunder and lightning flash, that is the fear of COVID-19, to stampede you into destroying your camp and yourselves beyond recognition. Yet we continue to follow the rear end in front of us in panicking fear. On and on we run, driven by the herd instinct, without thinking or stopping or bothering to think critically or even to do our homework. Has it dawned yet in the recesses of your fear-driven, panicked, adrenaline-saturated brain as you plot on and on behind the rear end in front of you, that you're being driven into the cattle pen of control by your drovers?

Oh, dear listener, the new normal is turning out to be an old trap, and that is tyranny. The new normal is the old tyranny. Your drovers, when you consider this, when you look at what's been happening for the last six or eight months, your drovers could care less about your health and well-being. Else they would end this charade today, and they would stop the overwhelming death and destruction being caused by the stampede that they incited. Dear listener, we are being played.

Oh, well, you might say, come on now, Mr. Conspiracy Theorist, you may condescendingly think to yourself, Joe Biden and St. Anthony Fauci and the gang over at Big Pharma, they love me. They have my best interest at heart. Yeah, right. Well, if I am a conspiracy theorist, then you are a naive, brainwashed Pollyanna.

In a crisis such as this, as manufactured and as unnecessary as it is, it's imperative to ask cui bono, which is Latin for who benefits. Every lawyer in a trial, criminal trial, asks this question, cui bono, who benefits. And it certainly isn't us, is it, dear listener? In this stupid shutdown, I have lost several of my favorite restaurants, I've lost my favorite yoga studio, and more soberly, I've lost a friend to suicide. This is to say nothing of the human cost to all of my friends and neighbors who owned those businesses too.

And the situation can be replicated around the country and around the world. In fact, in third world countries, where people are on the edge of survival, not just the edge of convenience, the cost has been far, far greater. The International Monetary Fund, for example, estimates that the response to COVID-19, not COVID-19, but our response to it, has experienced a $28 trillion hit to the world economy, hammering living standards, driving up global poverty for the first time in decades.

The IMF asserts that this is the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and that many countries would experience severe setbacks in average living standards. One spokesperson says, and I quote, the poor are getting poorer with close to 90 million people expected to fall into extreme deprivation this year. Unquote. Oh, dear listener, but who has benefited? Huh?

Kui Bono. Big pharma, big agriculture, and large corporate chains like Walmart. All of these have experienced record-breaking profits, and they're due to rake in even greater gains in the coming year. And your political bozos have also increased their control over you, where there's sweeping emergency powers, quote-unquote. Do you really think, dear listener, that they will relinquish these powers lightly, Mr. and Mrs. Pollyanna?

Always remember, dear listener, those who seek power over others are not like others, are they? History demonstrates this time and time again. Do we have to be taught by experience this lesson again? There is often something very twisted to those who seek power. Do not project your goodwill and your good intentions onto the political bozos who are ruling over you lightly, right?

Don't project this goodwill and intentions onto them lightly, because a medical tyranny is still, isn't it? It is still a tyranny, and we are the ones responsible for having it imposed upon us. We are the ones who accept it. We must reject it. Oh, and all I hear is time and time again, oh, but it's necessary, Pastor.

It's necessary for our health and safety and well-being. Well, then you fit into William Pitt's category here. William Pitt says about necessity, he says, necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves, unquote.

Pitt was so right. Will you espouse the creed of slaves by saying, oh, this is happening to me. It's necessary. Then you indeed are a slave. The threat is not commensurate to the measures being taken, dear listener, and the measures being taken are destroying the herd.

The herd instinct is operative in America now, and it's destroying us. It's one thing for a lion to threaten the wildebeest, a small cub or a hyena that feed on already dead carrying. It's not a threat. To ignite the herd instinct as our political bozos have done over a non-threat is far more destructive than the supposed threat. Give up your liberty.

Give up your liberty now is what your political bozos are telling you in order to be safe. Oh, are you safe? Do you feel safe, dear listener? Benjamin Franklin had some wise words about that situation. He said, those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

And, dear listener, that is America's status right now. We neither deserve liberty nor safety on our present course. We must reject the political bozos who are tyrannizing us with a medical tyranny. Stop the herd instinct. Strive rather for herd immunity.
