Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth, where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today, I want to ask you, what is the Great Reset that globalists are talking about, and how does it contrast with the Great Regeneration that Jesus speaks about? Big contrast between the two.

Now, I have touched upon the topic of the Great Reset ever so briefly in the recent past, but perhaps it is time to delve a little more deeply into it, since so much of what we are going through now, what we've gone through over the last few years, is directly related to the plan for the planet and all of humanity, for that matter, envisioned by the class of super-rich, powerful globalists who have emerged as the world's cultures and economies have become more and more integrated and interdependent upon one another. Globalism is on its way.

One of the things I maintain in the Great Regeneration of Christ is that it might as well be a Christian government, a Christian system. Things are changing, dear listener, from what you've known, the response to COVID-19, not the virus itself, but our stupid response to it, is changing our world. So is all-seeing, all-knowing, ever-present technology changing your world. Dear listener, you cannot run, you cannot hide, you cannot go back to normal, no matter how hard you wish upon a star.

In the very near future, I submit, unless we change course, unless we change direction, in the very near future, you will be sicker, poorer, dumber, hungrier, and sadder than you ever thought possible today. And you will slouch towards your grave sooner than you really should have, and all because of the Great Reset. But this is not how it's being pitched. What is the Great Reset? Oh, I think a good place to start is with its most ardent and articulate advocate, who is a globalist by the name of Klaus Schwab.

I have mentioned him a couple times. And he's a former member of the United Nations Advisory Board on Sustainable Development. And he is also the founder of the World Economic Forum, which meets annually in Davos, Switzerland. He's written a book, as a matter of fact, where he lays all these things out. They've decided it's time to unveil, to uncloak, to display their agenda.

And in his book, COVID-19, The Great Reset, that's the title of his book, COVID-19, The Great Reset, what he and his relatively small coterie of billionaire elitists hope to do is this, determine the, as he puts it, the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models, and the management of the global commons, unquote. Now, to them, right now, these global relations, national economies, social priorities, and business models, etc., they are all a collapsing mess. And in a lot of ways, they're right.

But what the globalist wants to do is use his expertise to reset it all on a more sustainable path. That's a buzzword. Well, what is a reset? And what do those who talk about a great reset mean by it? Well, a dictionary definition of reset is to set again or set differently.

Two different definitions, to set again or set differently. And the difference between these two make all the difference in the world. Yes, it does. To my way of thinking, I would love to see a setting again, a setting again, back to the measurements of Christ's constitution and capitalism, as I have expressed for years since 2008. But what those who speak of a great reset mean is in that second sense, that is to set differently.

And in that difference lies the space between tyranny and liberty for you and me. To the globalist way of thinking, the COVID pandemic has provided the perfect opportunity to stampede the world's frightened population into the cattle shoots of control, and to persuade us that it's time for change. Yes, grand, sweeping, radical change to set things differently than we have known in the United States of America. So make no mistake, dear, dear, dear listener, this is not a conspiracy theory bubbling in the imaginations of tinfoil hat kooks.

No, the great reset has been revealed already by its advocates as that cattle shoot vision down which your political drovers hope to drive you in a very few years to come. And they're being very open about it now. This point cannot be overemphasized, dear listener. Oh, a global elite has quietly betrayed the United States by selling our economy to the highest bidder, compromised our military strength by selling our technology, and ceding our national interest to foreign powers. And they facilitated the imposition of a world government upon us.

Yes. Now, the very idea of a global elite used to be a conspiracy theory in the mainstream media. But a conspiracy, what is a conspiracy, dear listener, a conspiracy is really nothing more than a plan, a plan by one group to do something to another group without telling them. When you come down to it, for example, parenting is really nothing more than a conspiracy by parents to turn little selfish barbarians into well-behaved civilized members of society. And when you think about it, advertising is at the end of the day, a conspiracy by corporations to turn unaware apathetic wage earners into loyal, enthusiastic consumers of your product.

Whether it's Coke versus Pepsi, or Chevy versus Ford, or even the Patriots versus the Steelers advertising. And of course, in the long run, history itself is largely the record of conspiracies. From the serpent's conspiracy to subvert Adam in the garden, to the Sanhedrin's conspiracy to crucify Jesus, to the Western bankers' conspiracy to overthrow the Romanov dynasty in Russia. And they did it with Lenin's communist Bolsheviks in 1917.

Ironically, even the dreaded epithet conspiracy theory or conspiracy theorist was coined in the 60s by the CIA to stigmatize anyone who questioned the received narrative of the JFK assassination contained in the Warren report. Oh, how successful this PSYOP has been. It has been used ever since as a kind of kook-shaming label. Anytime anyone investigates or challenges or questions or received deep state narrative, no matter how tenuous or false that deep state narrative may be, the conspiracy to use conspiracy conspiracy theory as a shaming tool to shut down curiosity or investigation when it gets too close to the truth.

Oh, this conspiracy has been very successful, hasn't it? And if you're still skeptical or unaware of the reality of the Great Reset, I urge you to consult several mainstream books. I've recommended these before, but want to highly recommend them again. And these are on the shelves at Barnes & Noble or any mainstream site that you might find, but they only begin to peel back the veil on the truth. And that is number one.

First book, Superclass. Superclass by David Rothkopf. Now, the subtitle is The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making. That's no conspiracy theory. That's a conspiracy reality by the author David Rothkopf, who has moved among these global elites for decades, and he makes his fortune advising them on world issues.

The second book I would commend to you is called Plutocrats by Chrystia Freeland. Now, Chrystia Freeland is a journalist based in New York and London, and she's been reporting on international finance for years. And the subtitle of her book is, right? Plutocrats, The Rise of the New Global Super Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else. I love that title.

It speaks so much truth. The subtitles of these two books say it all. There is a global power elite making a world in which their fortunes and power are secure. Now, whether you are conscious of this or not, it doesn't matter. A new global super rich have risen on the backs of and at the expense of the rest of us.

It is international in scope. Freeland estimates that on a planet of 7 billion people, there are perhaps 6 to 7,000 of the new super rich whose fortunes run into the billions, and they are so strategically woven into the fabric of the world's economy that this economy must be managed and controlled on a global scale if it is to be stable and secure. That is, if the fortunes and interests of the new global elite are to be protected and secure. And consequently, governments must be influenced as well. Governments must be influenced as much as possible to create policy that secures a stable and profitable income for them.

This is nothing new in history, though, of course. From the moment that that first caveman stashed more mastodon steaks than he could eat, more bearskin eyes than he could wear, and he moved into a more spacious cave than his neighbor, since that day, men have tried to secure their wealth and make sure that access to it would be there tomorrow. What is different today is that the global power elite are doing this on a global scale, not just locally or even nationally, but in order to secure this wealth, power, and control.

The modern globalist faces the age-old problem of securing, inventing, and maintaining the means for the few to control the many. That's always been impossible in the long run, is to secure the means for the few to control the many. For example, I love this person. She is a currency scholar and author as well. Her name is Catherine Austin Fitz.

Catherine Austin Fitz. That's F-I-T-T-S for that last name. And she documents why the African slave trade eventually collapsed. Now she also asserts, and I think she's right, slavery is the most profitable business in all of history, bar none. And for example, we even have, in our own days, slavery has not disappeared.

Human trafficking is essentially slavery, and it's been under the radar because it's so profitable. Mainstream media will not report on it. Politicians will not end it, because it is still the most profitable business in the entire world. But Catherine Austin Fitz documents why the African slave trade in particular eventually collapsed. She cites two reasons.

Number one, there was the inability to secure collateral. The African slave trade failed because there was an inability in the long run to secure collateral. Slaves would either be sold surreptitiously by the slave owner, after all, the plantations were thousands of miles away from British banks, or else the slaves would escape, and thus causing the bankers who held the loan to lose the principal. And secondly, the second reason for the collapse of the African slave trade, according to Catherine Austin Fitz, was rebellions and uprisings. Rebellions and uprisings.

From time to time, the principal, that is the human property, would become restive, and they would try to free themselves. Whether we're talking about the Israelites in Egypt, or Spartacus in Rome, or the Haitians in the New World, she cites this as an example of a successful rebellion that led to national independence. So, more than any other factor, not a sudden rediscovery of moral conscience or a return to Christian principle, no. The single greatest factor for the African slave trade collapsing is because the African slave trade was no longer profitable. It came to an end.

Now, Fitz observes that one thing and one thing alone has perfected secure collateral and minimal rebellion, and that is technology. Yes, today, slavery can be successful because of technology. As the AI revolution grows exponentially, with no end in sight, the ability of a few to control the many to behave as if they were gods. For example, having comprehensive knowledge of you, which is, of course, omniscience. Omniscience is a godlike quality.

Or being everywhere present via AI systems, that is omnipresence, another godlike attribute. And then finally, as a consequence, having all power over your life and circumstances eventually, which of course is omnipotence. Another godlike attribute. Well, because of AI, the ability of the few to control the many is now fully within reach. Dear listener, that little tracking and control device that you carry around with you, which you call a cell phone, is exhibit A of a first step towards panoptic control of the few by the many.

Panoptic control. A new word, maybe for some of you, panoptic means seeing, controlling all things, everything at once. Panoptic. This is increasingly becoming possible. But in order to achieve this panoptic stasis, there must be a seismic shift from old ways and systems to new ways and systems, which cement and complete this control.

This securing of collateral and minimal rebellion, as Fitz puts it. And so, at places like Davos, Switzerland, globalists like Klaus Schwab convene annually the World Economic Forum. Other venues too, but this is the grandmother of them all, if you will. And over the years, they have packaged this plan, which they're now marketing to the world as the Great Reset. In every way possible, they try to put the best spin on it, hoping that you will enthusiastically embrace it as the salvation of humanity and the planet, the Great Reset.

And of course, there are themes and buzzwords that we're already beginning to hear. Let me name just a few of them for you. First of all, there is that buzzword, build back better. Have you heard this yet? Build back better.

That's how they're trying to sell this to you. It's a deliberately thought out set of words. After wasting the world's economy and ways of life and plunging most of the population into fear and distress over the COVID hoax, our handlers now propose to rebuild, that is to reset our world even better than before, that is by building back better. So, if you believe this, dear listener, then you are truly a naive, brainwashed Pollyanna. Another phrase and another set of circumstances you will hear is stopping global climate change.

Stopping global climate change. This theme, of course, was the original premise for a Great Reset, but most of the world didn't buy it. But once the China virus panic developed ahead of steam, well, then this engine of fear and plausible lies was brought under the tracks to increase the momentum of the train of the Great Reset. It also becomes, stopping global climate change, also becomes an excuse to redistribute the wealth of traditional Western industrialized nations to globalists. But it's all under the guise of redistributing it to the emerging third world.

Don't believe that for a minute either. Another theme that you'll hear is bringing social justice to the oppressed. Oh, that sounds very moral and good, doesn't it? We must bring social justice to the oppressed around the world. It's a theme with which we are very familiar in the United States of America.

Progressive harpies never cease or tire from browbeating us with it. But it's going global now, dear listener. Globalists are social justice warriors, too, but not for reasons you might suppose that your neighborhood well-meaning progressive true believer is for it. Oh, our version in the United States is being marketed as reparations where wealth will be redistributed to wealthy bankers and globalists under the pretense of going to descendants of former slaves, right? That's the purpose, at least ostensibly, which is the twisted logic of progressives.

And it's just to them, right? Justice. But just watch, dear listener, just watch, mark my words. Just as most of the COVID relief money supposedly allocated to suffering Americans went instead to globalists, so the wealth of average Americans will go to the same people, not to the descendants of slaves. Dear listener, we have just begun to unpack for you the nature and character of the Great Reset.

It has been decades in the planning, and there are features of it you must be aware of if we are to cope with it and, importantly, create an alternative of which God would approve. And I believe this is utterly requisite for our Christian witness in the world, dear believer. And I call it a vision for a Christian millennium. I have all of these in a series of messages on a Christian millennium. But what I want to share with you today is not only the nature of the Great Reset, and we'll have part two next week, but what I'd like to begin to share with you as well is an alternative, a solution.

And I call it a vision for a Christian millennium. We need to prepare for a Christian thousand years, dear listener. And towards that end, I have eight propositions anchored in the Scriptures for a Christian millennium. Let me share some of those with you now, and we'll review those then again each week as we compare it with a Great Reset. We don't want a Great Reset set by Luciferians and selfish evil globalists who want all the wealth of the world and want all the control of the world.

No, we want a great regeneration in Jesus Christ, a thousand-year millennium of peace and flourishing of the Christian faith, which can only be done by the power of the Holy Spirit, too, parenthetically. But I have eight propositions for a Christian millennium that I'd like to begin to share with you and share more fully than in days to come as well. First of all, proposition number one, there will be a world government. It might as well be and indeed ought to be Christian. Yes, things are coming together, coalescing, whether it's economies and cultures or whether it's a religious faith and other moral imperatives.

There will be a world government, dear listener, and it might as well be and indeed ought to be Christian. For us, to us, as Isaiah says, for to us, a child is born, to us, a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Now, dear listener, that's not just for some far-off literal thousand-year reign of Jesus. No, that text was meant to be here in this realm during this time, this dispensation, this covenant, this is to transpire. And we firmly believe this and hold this out.

There will be a world government. It ought to be Christian because the government will be upon his shoulder. Isaiah goes on to say, of the increase of his government and of peace, there will be no end. On the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore, the zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this, unquote. Isaiah holds out for this.

We hold out for this, too. There will be a world government under Christ, and it might as well be Christian, right? If it is under Christ, it will ipso facto be Christian. So that's our first proposition then for you to consider. I don't expect you to buy this wholeheartedly just yet, but I do want you to think about this because, indeed, it is not just for the far-flung future, dear listener.

It is meant for this day and this time, under this covenant. My second proposition is, then, that world government's representative body must be composed of a worldwide assembly of Christian republics. That world government which is coming, it should have a representative body, and it must be composed of a worldwide assembly of previously Christian republics instead of the United Nations. Oh, a pox on the United Nations. Instead of a United Nations, there must be, rather, a world congress composed of representatives from each Christian constitutional republic around the world.

Israel practiced this early in her history, appointing tribal heads to represent the people, and they then passed judgment to the people. Bit by bit, they presided in courts over the people. Moses standing at the very top, right? A congregation of republican representatives serves this principle well. So that's my second proposition, that world government's representative body must be composed, then, of a worldwide assembly of Christian republics.

Oh, my third proposition is, then, that history has shown that the freest and most prosperous societies were those constituted as Christian republics. History has demonstrated this, dear listener. Proposition number three. The freest and most prosperous societies were those constituted as Christian republics. And I give you as example, England, for example, under the interregnum, or the Dutch Republic.

I have Dutch roots, and I know the history of the Dutch Republic. It is rich and true. Or the Swiss Confederation, which was composed of independent free cantons, and is still structured that way today. And of course, the 13 states of the American colonies. Oh, the crucible of redemptive history is clear.

And it is also dear. It is dear and costly for human striving and individual dreams and aspirations. But it proves, redemptive history proves the worth of human governments over time. And if we will learn from history, we will quickly see that a Christian constitutional republic provides the best model of human government, yet seen on the stage of human history. It's taken millennia to refine.

We've fought our way through tyranny. We've fought our way through pagan kingdoms, through monarchies, to a constitutional republic. And we must now embrace, indeed, the idea of a overt, explicit Christian constitutional republic. And I will expand on these ideas in days to come, especially as we contrast it then with the great reset, which must become for us the great reject, because it will indeed bring tyranny to us. And I will proceed then with those other eight propositions for a Christian millennium in days to come.

I'll share that with you in part three, as well, of the great reset. We will deal with the great reset and the great regeneration under Christ, that it is indeed coming. And despite what your own personal theology may be, despite what your own energies and so forth may be, it's coming. And it is inevitable. We'll deal with that in days to come, too.

There is a great Christian millennium coming, and it will be the great regeneration and not the great reset. We at New Geneva do believe in we preach the great regeneration.
