Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth, where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. Today, should we, the victims of COVID tyranny, grant amnesty to the COVID crazies who perpetrated this fraud on us? If you've been tracking with the media lately, you've noticed a marked change in attitude as the failures and bankruptcy of mainstream COVID policy becomes more and more difficult to hide.

And recently, one COVID Karen has stuck her toe in the waters of amnesty to sense the temperature out there for mercy, for mercy now, when she was not willing to grant it then, when the COVID hysteria was at its height, when people were actually calling for denial of treatment at hospitals for the unvaccinated. And her name is Emily Oster. And she is a teacher who contributes regularly to the Atlantic Monthly magazine. And one of those contributions is the recently published article. It was dated October 31st, 2022.

With this title, get this title. Let's declare a pandemic amnesty. And the subtitle is we need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID. Oh, there's so much to unpack there. Can you see just from the title what is coming?

The very same hoaxers who scammed you into a hysterical tyrannical fever dream for two years are now scamming you into a great equivocation or one party that is the COVID zealot party is no more, no less responsible for the excesses of this period than us, who were the rational creatures who ended up being right on every major point. We have been bitch slapped at every turn. And now that the hysteria has calmed, you want to shrug off responsibility by saying we were both responsible for your injuries. No, Ms. Oster, some of us were not in the dark about COVID. Repeat, some of us were not in the dark about COVID.

Some of us knew by hard evidence that the virus originated in Wuhan, financed by St. Anthony Fauci, whose involvement in financing and developing gain-of-function vaccines goes all the way back to 2014. No, we were not in the dark, but actively shining a light while you were shaming us as ignorant racists against the Chinese. Some of us also saw the destructive effects of locking down and quarantining an entire society instead of just the infected.

Destructive effects, which included, but were not limited to, the retardation of the education and development of a whole generation of children, the closing and destruction of countless family and small businesses to the benefit of big box stores, to the psychological strain put upon marriages and families and individuals in the disruption of life routines, issuing in suicides and divorces, and permanent psychological damage, or the fatal postponement of minor or unnecessary procedures, or diagnostic treatments that would have caught early cancers, for example, or the closing of churches and houses of worship as unnecessary.

Yet, you zealots hysterically called us killers for questioning lockdowns, and you gave us maudlin platitudes like, we're apart now, so that when we come back together, we're all here. Right? No, some of us were not in the dark. Some of us knew the PCR tests were a fraud and only tested for a wide swath of virus and had to be ramped up to 40 plus cycles to detect anything and were so unreliable that the same person in one sitting could test positive for COVID six of 12 applications and negative for COVID in the other six of 12 applications. Yet, you followed the science.

And let some technicians shove a swab up your nose to your brainstem as if there were any science to it, as if it were the litmus test of salvation. No, Ms. Oster, some of us were not in the dark about the complete charade of masks. Many more of us than you realize knew from the beginning that expecting a mask to screen out a virus is like expecting a chain-link fence to screen out a mosquito. They are ludicrously ineffective. Masks served as a childlike security blanket for the emotionally insecure.

It made zealous believers feel better about themselves, but made them no safer. The wearing of masks and their universal mandates for everybody served as a tool of tyranny for the petty tyrant in every man. Blind obedience by the masses and self-affirming feel-good virtue signaling by the enforcement Karens. Oh, it abounded in the land, didn't it? Oh, exhibit A for me was the young high school student at my local pool who, when I came up to the entry desk without a mask, exclaimed, no one gets into my pool without a mask, unquote.

Oh, the petty tyrant in all of us. And no, we were not all in the dark. Some of us were not inoculated from the truth by the shills of that magic elixir, vaccines. How the medical establishment has squandered its cherished credibility and gravitas amongst the American people by peddling the deadly fraud of the COVID vaccine. We can never trust Big Pharma, Big Med, and Big Government again.

None of the battery of vaccines rolled out by Big Pharma kept us from getting COVID like you promised. They didn't prevent the spread of the virus to others like you promised. The vaccines didn't alleviate the symptoms or severity of the virus like you promised. In fact, some of us knew, because we did our homework, Ms. Oster, that these deadly gene therapy kill shots actually destroy one's natural immunity and bring on deadly side effects like microcarditis, most famously, but not limited to. Time does not permit us to detail the wide swath of destruction.

These vaccines are even now reeking upon the biology of humanity, but we are documenting it and carefully noting who did this and why and precisely what has been done, not just for posterity, but most especially for the court dossier. There will be a reckoning and I should say, arrest Fauci first. That should be our mantra. Arrest Fauci first. So, right out of the gate, Ms. Oster, in your very title, which is, once again, we're reviewing Emily Oster's article in the magazine Atlantic, her title is, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty.

We Need to Forgive One Another for What We Did and Said When We Were in the Dark About COVID. That's the Title of Her Article. Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. Even right out of the gate, Ms. Oster, you betray what you really want to do. You want to equivocate over the fact that you were wrong on every factor of COVID to the eternal debilitation of our way of life.

And we were right on every factor. No, we do not share equal blame, equal responsibility, equal ignorance of the facts of the case. And your article tries to play upon our heartstrings, too, to the distraction of our common sense. Emily Oster writes in her article of how she and her family took walks to relieve the boredom of being shut in and locked down with a little to do. Where her four-year-old son would yell at other maskless children who strayed too close, social distancing!

Oh, a well-trained, well-groomed automaton. Nothing demonstrates the habits of our hearts like the conditioned behavior of our children. Like teacher, like student. And Emily goes on to admit that the efficacy of masks out of doors was vanishingly small, but we didn't know. Au contraire, Emily Oster, someone did know, just not you.

You and the whole army of hysterical mandate enforcers like you are perpetrators of not only vaccine villainy, but also the logical fallacy of deliberate ignorance. The logical fallacy of deliberate ignorance, where indeed defined as choosing not to listen, tuning out, or turning off any information, evidence, or arguments that challenge one's beliefs, ideology, standpoint, or peace of mind. So, when it comes to the mother of all COVID issues, and that's vaccines, all of this the apologist Emily Oster can do is to establish why we should declare amnesty is to trivialize the matter.

And she reduces the controversy of vaccines to which jab was the best, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, or Moderna. Really, really, Ms. Oster, where were you when thousands of experts in their fields were raising questions about the warp speed with which these kill shots were being rushed to market? And I just give you as one example, the Great Barrington Declaration. It was a declaration of caution signed by many hundreds of experts. For example, in this rushing the vaccine by warp speed to market, they skipped the most important step in the safety protocol, and that was animal trials.

Where were you, Ms. Oster, when thousands of experts raised questions about the new gene therapy of mRNA technology? We have no idea of the long-term harms that might be caused, but we are finding out through experience, aren't we? We, the people, after all, are the animal trials. Where were you, Ms. Oster, when thousands of experts raised questions about the many untested adjuvants in the vaccines, which we are now finding incite effects like Bell's palsy or microcarditis?

Where were you, Ms. Oster, when thousands of experts were questioning the unleashing of numberless prions into the human immune system, which the mRNA technology stimulates the body to produce? On and on we could go, articulating real substantial issues concerning the vaccines. But all you do, Ms. Oster, is reduce it to a matter of a choice between J&J or Pfizer, Obladee or Oblada. Trivial. Or the big deal you make out of a non sequitur.

That is the supposed controversy about how the health community had to battle to keep us from injecting bleach. That was a non-issue, an off-the-cuff remark by President Trump. No one seriously proposed that. Trivialities. You deal with trivialities.

Excuse me, trivialities. And but by trivializing the real issues over vaccines, people like Emily Oster hope to deflect attention and responsibility that she and her ilk rightly deserve to have placed squarely on their shoulders. But it won't work. You will be held responsible. The crimes committed against the American people and the world are truly breathtaking.

Oh, Ms. Oster hopes to lead us down a primrose path, though, of naive projection. Everyone who thinks like that, that is not to engage in naive projection, assuming that everyone is of a goodwill character like yours. Do not project naively that everyone is of a goodwill character like you. Given the amount of uncertainty, she says in her article, going on in her article, she says, given the amount of uncertainty, almost every position was taken on every topic. And on every topic, someone was eventually proved right and someone else was proved wrong.

In some instances, the right people were right for the wrong reasons. In other instances, they had a prescient understanding of the available information. Oh, once again, Ms. Oster, in the first place, I refuse to grant your opening giving. That is, I refuse to grant your opening given, excuse me, the given that the uncertainty was universal. We have just dealt with that pretty extensively.

The uncertainty was yours, Ms. Oster, willfully, deliberately yours. In the second place, I reject your implicit assumption that some people were right and others were wrong on a random basis. That we were all just shooting in the dark. That the medical establishment was playing a kind of giant game of pin the tail on the donkey, blindfolded and aiming the best they could for the COVID donkey's rear end. No, that COVID was played out in the casinos of Las Vegas.

And not in the Wuhan lab and the Centers for Disease Control. No, Ms. Oster, you cannot have it both ways. Either one side was right based upon the science, whether it be good or bad science, or it was based upon random guesses. Ouija board science, if you will. You contradict yourself, Ms. Oster.

Once again, we are looking at Emily Oster's article from The Atlantic, which is entitled, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. We Need to Forgive One Another for What We Did and Said When We Were in the Dark About COVID. And this article is but an exercise in obfuscation and distortion. Emily, we will not let you obfuscate what you did to us. Your article only perpetuates the bullying and condescension you evidenced in the pandemic.

She goes on to say, the people who got it right for whatever reason may want to gloat. Those who got it wrong for whatever reason may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn't accord with the facts. She goes on to say, in the face of so much uncertainty, getting something right had a hefty element of luck. And similarly, getting something wrong wasn't a moral failing, she says. Getting something wrong wasn't a moral failing.

Treating pandemic choices as a scorecard on which some people racked up more points than others is preventing us from moving forward. Oh, Ms. Oster, I hate to break it to you, but getting something wrong is a moral failure when you act to suppress and oppress people who disagree with you based upon that which you got wrong. That is what is crucial. You destroyed the health and the rights and the well-being of millions of those with whom you disagreed over what you got wrong. You barred people from critical surgeries who refused the kill shot.

Others had delayed or canceled routine checkups or procedures that would have caught diseases early to prevent them. Countless thousands of people have lost their careers and livelihoods because they refused the kill shot. We couldn't visit or hold hands with or look into the eyes of one last loved one for that time or say one last goodbye to our elderly parents as they lay dying in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice centers. You saw to that.

And because of your hysterical frenzy, we couldn't see our children graduate in open ceremony or get married in weddings or solemnly say goodbye in funerals, all human interaction came to a halt because of your obsession. You stigmatized, canceled, and banned from public life those who disagreed with you or offered alternatives to the mainstream narrative promulgated by St. Anthony and his minions. You filled the air with hate speech, which you at least ostensibly hate so much, right?

You filled the air with hate speech as you self-righteous Karens browbeat, criticized, and harangued people in public who refused to wear masks or social distance or support your draconian lockdown measures. No, Ms. Oster, the real thing that is preventing us from moving forward is the lack of a tribunal where all of those guilty of visiting this crime upon us are brought to justice. There will be no progress without justice. Crime must be punished or it will go on. It will repeat.

It will flourish in the land. As Solomon says in Ecclesiastes, because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. There must be justice for evil to stop, Ms. Oster. Once again, the prophet Habakkuk says that under these kinds of conditions, the law is paralyzed and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous, so justice goes forth perverted.

This is the situation if indeed justice is not done. There will be no going forward until we look back and judge and punish the crimes against us. And there will be no amnesty, quote-unquote. And once again, we are looking at Emily Oster's article in The Atlantic, if you're just joining us, from October 31st of 2022. And the title of that article is, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty.

We Need to Forgive One Another for What We Did and Said When We Were in the Dark About COVID. But there will be no going forward. There will be no amnesty or forgiveness until there is repentance on your part for the sin you perpetrated on your fellow citizens in your moral frenzy, or should we call it an immoral frenzy. And I really do not expect much from you or your ilk. I do not expect a mea culpa anytime soon.

In fact, your article betrays an unrepentant heart. Once again, from Emily Oster's article in The Atlantic, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. She says, Many people have neglected their health care over the past several years. Notably, routine vaccination rates for children are way down. Rather than debating the role that messaging about COVID vaccines had in this decline, we need to put all our energy into bringing the rates back up.

Pediatricians and public health officials will need to work together on community outreach. And politicians will need to consider school mandates. Here we go again. She is completely unrepentant. Ms. Oster, there is no one so blind as those who will not see.

Your closing forte after the absolute slaughter that is the COVID vaccine is more vaccines. Can you not see that vaccine hesitancy is quickly turning into vaccine certainty? Has it passed you by completely that all trust has gone forfeit in our medical establishment? Big pharma, big med, and big government. As one commentator puts it, how can you trust these people again?

Oh, amen. How can you trust these people again? How can anyone with even one sentient brain cell ever trust these people again? And then finally, finally, Emily Oster's article in The Atlantic, once again, entitled, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. We Need to Forgive One Another for What We Did and Said When We Were in the Dark About COVID.

Finally, an artless attempt to obfuscate the past and shirk responsibilities for crimes and sins and avoid the grinding mill of justice. She closes with an attempted flourish. She says, the standard saying is that those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. But dwelling on the mistakes of history can lead up to a repetitive doom as well. Doom loop, excuse me, a repetitive doom loop as well.

Let's acknowledge that we made complicated choices in the face of deep uncertainty. And then try to work together to build back and move forward. Oh, she almost said build back better, didn't she? Perhaps you anticipated what many of us will say, Ms. Oster. That is indeed, if we do not remember the past hysteria, we are doomed to repeat it.

It will happen again. The COVID lemmings will rush towards the white cliffs of Dover again, sweeping us all along with them to our doom. The real doom loop, Ms. Oster, is the historical one inherent in our nature. That is the herd instinct, which causes us to panic in times of real or perceived danger, and then to rush to do stupid things like stampeding cattle or crushing mobs in a burning building. You, Emily Oster, just refuse to admit that you let the herd instinct get the best of your reason during the response to COVID.

You let the urge to stampede overwhelm your better sense. And now you're trying to beat back better and cover your tracks and obfuscate the past before we can document it. Yes. At the state fair, contestants grease pigs to make it more difficult to capture them to win a prize. And here in this article, Emily Oster attempts to grease she and her fellow COVID zealots with excuses and equivocations to make it more difficult to capture them for accountability and justice.

But it won't work, Emily. You and your hissy fit Karens will be held accountable. Justice will be brought to bear upon you. And there is another standard saying to which that I allude. The wheels of justice grind slowly, but they grind exceeding fine.

And already there are calls for justice to be served. Senator Rand Paul has requested that Attorney General Merrick Garland criminally investigate Anthony Fauci for lying to Congress. St. Anthony said unequivocally that he did not participate in gain-of-function research when there is evidence he did. I do not expect this fraudulent Justice Department to pursue this case right now, but at least the accountability has begun and it will not stop. It will be brought to light.

The wheels of justice are beginning to grind. And we must arrest Fauci first. Arrest Fauci first, but not last. He must be the first of many. And as for forgiveness, this is indeed a Christian virtue.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Colossians, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. What must always stand is our readiness to forgive, and I am ready to forgive. But biblical forgiveness is not open-ended and it is not one-sided. Forgiveness is a two-way street. The offender must repent of sin and ask forgiveness before it can be granted by the offended party.

The Lord forgives us when we become aware of the enormity of our sin against Him. And then when we ask forgiveness and turn from our wicked ways, God forgives, God forgives. Then and only then are we forgiven. That is the pattern of forgiveness. It is bound up with genuine repentance on the part of the offender.

Have you acknowledged your sin against us, Emily Oster? Have you repented of your egregious offenses and turned from your errant ways? Have you humbly admitted your brutish treatment of your fellow man during the pandemic and have you asked for our forgiveness? I've seen no evidence of that, nor do I expect to see it anytime soon from a self-absorbed narcissist like Emily Oster and her partners in disinformation. The evidence of your article.

And once again, we have just considered Emily Oster's article in The Atlantic, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. That's her title. Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. With the subtitle, we need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID. Emily Oster's article is that you, the upshot is that you will continue in your arrogant progressive pattern of behavior.

But there's always hope. There's always hope for a change. And for this, I pray, dear listener, that there will be a change in heart. And always remember, as well, dear listener, just remember, there will be no building back better until you stop trying to beat back better and cover your tracks. There will be no building back better and moving forward, as you call for in your article, until there is justice upon and repentance from you and your COVID mafia.
