Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today, I would like to continue my open letter to the illegal alien. And this is part two of that letter. Last week, we introduced the thought that those of you who enter the United States of America in the manner you are now, that is, illegally by circumventing the standard naturalization process.

You are ultimately destroying and undermining the reasons for which you came here. We observed, for example, that a full 77% of those who come here do so to improve their economic opportunities. And far down the list comes things like escaping political oppression or seeking political asylum. But the economic foundation, the economic foundation that creates the wealth and prosperity that you seek, dear alien, dear illegal migrant, that wealth and prosperity is based upon certain principles which have guided the American experience for over 400 years now.

And those principles are being undermined today in part because of how you, the illegal alien, are becoming a part of our country. And also by how some forces in our own country are lying to you, enticing you, enticing you with false promises, and cynically using you for their own economic and political purposes. Make no mistake, there are those who want you here to exploit your labor and make you a modern day slave. There are those who want to use you and your vulnerable children in sex trafficking operations.

And there are those who want to brainwash you into thinking it is only one political party who gave you this chance and has your best interest at heart. They want you forever indebted to them to vote for them and support the coming tyranny that will ironically end up destroying the free, prosperous country country you left home to come to. There is a day coming when, if we do not work together to stop it, all of us, including you, will find ourselves in a desperate, impoverished tyranny that will make the place you fled from look like a worker's paradise. Therefore, we begin to lay out seven principles last week.

If they are well understood, we'll help guide your thinking and turn the tables on those who brought you here. When your heart and mind are committed to those principles, you will join us, that is, constitutional conservatives. I consider myself a constitutional conservative, a member of the American Republic. And you will begin then with us to make of this nation a freer and more prosperous one than the world has ever seen before. Oh, and we began last week with the first of those four principles.

Let me review them very briefly. Number one, it is the individual who creates wealth in the private sector. Yes, it is you, the individual who creates wealth in the private sector. Oh, the government has never created one single dime of wealth. We saw that they are parasitic on the body politic.

They have services to provide. They can be useful, but it is the individual who creates wealth, not government in the private sector. Number two, the second principle we looked at briefly is that big government tyrannizes and limits the individual while limited government liberates and unleashes the individual. The bigger the government, the more the tyranny and the less the freedom and liberty of the individual because big government can only tyrannize and limit you while limited government, which our founding fathers provided in our constitution, limited government liberates and unleashes the individual.

That was the second principle we looked at. The third principle was God, not government, has given us unalienable rights. Yes, your rights, unalienable they are. They have not been given you, granted you by government. Government is not God.

No, it is the God who created you that wired you with and for liberties with which you may live and worship him. And then fourthly, we also saw number four, your rights are guaranteed and protected by the rule of law. Oh, that is fast disappearing. But at least in principle, the United States of America was founded on the idea that your rights are guaranteed and protected by the rule of law, not the rule of men. No.

So those were the first four principles that we looked at and observed. Let's continue to unfold the remaining three principles that will begin to help you, dear illegal alien, prosper as never before in the American Republic if you choose to practice these principles. Number five, then. Principle number five. If the rule of law, which we have just spoken about, right?

Your rights are guaranteed and protected by the rule of law. Well, then number five, if the rule of law is to be predominant and not the rule of men, then the men who make, execute, and adjudicate those laws must be men of Christian integrity. Yes, men of Christian integrity. Very specifically, our founding fathers for, for example, Sam Adams observed, he said, our constitution was made only for a virtuous and moral people. It is entirely unsuited to any other, unquote.

That was John Adams, by the way, not Samuel. I'm sorry. John Adams said, our constitution was made only for a virtuous and moral people. It is entirely unsuited to any other. Unquote.

Oh, dear listener, dear illegal alien, the lust for power is an all-consuming force that will, in the end, rule a man, even as he tries to rule his fellow man. How many men have fallen prey to it? A magistrate in a constitutional republic must temper his exercise of power with self-control, lest he be tempted to extend his power beyond its constitutional limits. Most men try to do precisely this. And likewise, the people in a constitutional republic must exercise vigilance over their magistrates, and they must restrain, impeach, or punish those who go beyond their enumerated powers.

They must be held accountable. All of this requires personal integrity, honesty, self-control of one's passions, diligent labor, and taking genuine responsibility for one's actions, and then acting virtuously at all times, even when no one is looking. Our constitution gives the widest possible liberty and discretion to the individual, not the government. And consequently, control of one's passions and actions depends upon the morality and integrity of the individual. That's on one side.

But it also then depends on the restraint and self-limiting of government on the other. Our liberty depends on that restraint and self-limiting of government. Who can avoid the temptations to cede responsibility to government, right? If you're a private citizen, except a man of integrity, who can avoid grasping for more and more power? If you're a public magistrate, except you be a man or woman of integrity, huh?

So, dear prospective immigrant, I must ask you, are the things that you are doing undermining this very principle? Can you be a man of integrity, a thing requisite for true liberty in our free society? Can you be a man of integrity then by sneaking across our borders, lying about your status to employers and citizens, and forging documents and avoiding paying taxes? These are not the actions of a Christian citizen of integrity. In fact, the more these kinds of actions are practiced, the more they undermine and jeopardize the liberty and prosperity you came here to get.

Oh, if citizens must be men and women of integrity in order for a free constitutional republic to exist, and more and more of us are less and less men and women of integrity, then our constitutional republic will perish sooner or later for you, oh, and most importantly, for your children. Many of you have come here not only just for yourselves, but also for the lives and futures of your children. Do not jeopardize them by refusing to be a man or woman of integrity, Christian integrity.

Well, number six, the sixth principle that we must adhere to if we are going to remain a free constitutional republic, and you must participate with us, dear illegal alien. Number six, we are made diverse by our heritage, but made one by our constitution. Diversity and unity. We are made diverse by our heritage, but made one by our constitution. Perhaps you're familiar with a very dangerous fad in American culture, and that is diversity.

Diversity is celebrated, indulged, even worshipped as a religious principle. And I say it's dangerous because when indulged for its own sake, diversity, what it ends up doing is fragmenting and dividing rather than uniting. Our founding fathers, they observed the diversity of religions or ethnicities and races on the continent of Europe, for example. Nations and empires will built upon these identities. The German blood, the Spanish race, the French culture, countless wars and bloodshed ensued.

The Thirty Years' War was one of the bloodiest in history, depopulating whole regions of Europe for generations, all in the name of diverse religions. The Slavs of the Balkan Peninsula fought bloody internecine wars for generations, and they still do for that matter, in the name of their respective ethnicities. And then under the heel of all of them was the Jew. So don't tell me there is unity in diversity. That's hogwash.

What a lie. In diversity, when it's alone and for diversity's own sake, there is only division and dissension and death. And our founding fathers realized this, and they crafted the most unifying document in history, the United States Constitution. It is this, the Constitution that unites us, dear listener. It is raceless, creedless, and without denomination, though it is Christian in principle and heritage.

So, nowhere on earth, dear listener, nowhere on earth, dear illegal alien, is there another nation, another people founded on an idea, a written, objective constitution, like there is here in the United States of America. So do not risk, do not jeopardize that principle. My dear immigrant friend, are you prepared to accept this principle wholeheartedly, or do you let yet, excuse me, or do you yet harbor another agenda for America? Perhaps you share the goals of La Raza, which is the race. Implicitly divisive and destructive and seditious is La Raza, and it declares the United States is ours.

The United States is stolen land, right? And they propose to rename the United States Atsalan, right? Perhaps you are stubbornly refusing to use or speak or learn English, and you celebrate your other nation's citizenship, waving that nation's flag, stomping on the red, white, and blue. Oh, if this is the case, if you harbor any hesitation, or have second thoughts about your loyalties, that is, you refuse to become one under our Constitution, then you are undermining the very liberty and prosperity you came here to get, and you make yourself my enemy.

If you persist in trying to render America to be just another Mexico or nation from which you have come, then you will get what you wish for. Drug cartels, poverty, ignorance, despair, and tyranny. Principle number six, right? Principle number seven, then finally, the bar for liberty is open to all men, but it is high, and it requires a thorough education and heartfelt commitment. The bar for liberty is open to all men, but that bar is consequently high, and it requires a thorough education and a heartfelt, a sincere, a true commitment.

Oh, dear listener, dear citizen, dear prospective citizen, a citizen of a free republic is a serious person who approaches his duties, responsibilities, and liberties with reverence and study. No one was more insistent on this than was Thomas Jefferson, one of our founding fathers, and he said, I quote him, enlighten the people, and tyranny and oppression will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day. What a great quote. Enlighten the people, educate them, make them knowledgeable of their past and their heritage. Enlighten the people, and tyranny and oppression will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.

Thomas Jefferson, the Constitution is a comprehensible read, dear listener. It's a comprehensible, understandable read for the simplest, plainest of men, but it does require study. How can you know your rights, dear listener? How can you possibly know your rights and liberties unless you study them? How can you act to check a tyrant or discern the difference between a thief of your liberties and one who will protect them unless you know what recourse you have under the Constitution?

The founding fathers knew that the citizen of a free republic must be an educated citizen, and they must be educated in the Constitution. John Adams said, children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom, unquote. That's why we had civics classes for years. That's why we had government classes reaching all the way down into junior high and then into high school and then into college as well. But all of that has vanished because the progressive wants to keep you ignorant of your past.

The progressive wants to keep you ignorant of your liberties. The progressive wants to keep you ignorant of the constitution, which indeed charters, then those God-given rights in specific language. And the progressive wants to erase all that so they can make a view, a clean slate, a tabula rasa, in which they write their own Marxist agenda. Oh, the founding fathers, however, knew that the citizen of a free republic must be an educated citizen in the Constitution. An ignorant citizen in a free republic will soon be an ignorant drone in a captive tyranny.

Oh, dear illegal alien, dear prospective citizen of the United States, you must arm yourself with true knowledge in order to be free. Thomas Jefferson puts it this way. He says the only true corrective of constitutional abuse is education. Oh, yes. The founding fathers valued education right down to the local farmer, the local mechanic, the local factory worker.

So my dear prospective immigrant, this is one reason that our forefathers wisely required a time of preparation for an immigrant before he took the oath of citizenship. Have you done this? Are you willing to do this? Courses in the Constitution, American history, English, and the rights and duties of citizens were required, taking perhaps years to complete. And the purpose was to fulfill this principle in order that the prospective immigrant might be thoroughly equipped to be a productive, responsible, successful citizen of his newly adopted country.

So I must ask you in all seriousness, dear illegal immigrant, have you considered that the things you are doing are the very things that are destroying or undermining this principle? By surreptitiously entering our country, working, laboring, enjoying the fruits of our land without undergoing the rigorous process for becoming a free citizen in a constitutional republic? Are you not putting your liberty and ours at risk by your ignorance? Do you know our Constitution? Do you know your rights and liberties and responsibilities to your fellow men in a constitutional republic?

Dear listener, my great-grandfather came to America from Holland. He landed at Ellis Island, where he legally entered after undergoing a health examination and interview as to his status and purposes for immigrating. He quickly learned English and self-taught himself American civics and history. He became a citizen after two years. He strictly forbade my grandfather, his son, from speaking Dutch and insisted that he was an American, that his first loyalties were to America and her constitution.

Not Holland as proud of his heritage as he was. Still, it was America first. So, my dear immigrant friend, can this be said of you? Are your first loyalties, excuse me, to the United States of America or to Mexico or possibly another land? Do you know English as your first language and teach it to your children?

Do you know the Constitution and its responsibilities and liberties? Your ignorance of these matters will mean you will be that much closer to slavery and subjugation by clever tyrants who will use your ignorance to enslave you. Additionally, it puts me and my fellow citizens' liberty at risk, especially when you can vote, work, and live among us. So, I submit to you, as long as you avoid educating yourself and taking up the responsibilities of citizenship, you put in jeopardy the very freedom and prosperity you came here for and you risk the same for your children.

It is in your own best interest to become a constitutional conservative and to begin to ensure your future liberty and prosperity as a free citizen of the United States of America. Oh, dear illegal alien, you have unwittingly become the centerpiece of perhaps the issue of our time. That is, whether we become a nation of free, prosperous citizens with a proud heritage in a constitutional republic, or whether we become just another slave state in a gray gulag under a series of self-serving petty tyrants like the rest of the world and even perhaps like the country from which you have just come.

And maybe, just maybe, you have already sensed what I'm talking about. Maybe through your own experience. Perhaps you've been brutalized or raped or treated with contempt and used by the drug cartels that run so much of this operation. Have many of your fellow travelers disappeared or died or fallen victim to disease, hunger, and the elements? Perhaps you have noticed that many of those side by side with you are not coming with their families but are males of military age who have about them a military demeanor, of course, as well.

Your suspicions then may be correct. There are plans afoot to take control of whole regions of the United States by force, by foreign entities, in cooperation with drug cartels. It is, in part, why some of us call this phenomena and invasion.

And perhaps you've noticed that those who receive you on this end of your journey are not necessarily setting you up for personal success, but rather they are delivering you to others who will send you to destinations of labor slavery or maybe for use as a sex object to profit evil people, or perhaps to drop you off in a strange place where you know no one, you have nothing, and you can't speak the language. Oh, many of us admire and respect the sacrifices that you, dear illegal alien, that you have made to come here.

I'm not sure I could make them myself if I had to, but we must also advise you that the manner in which you have come here will, if followed by the millions who have preceded you and followed by the millions who will come after you. If you keep following that pattern, you will eventually destroy the very foundations which made us, the United States of America, the envy of the world. That is why we exhort you to at least consider these seven principles as a starting point in your thinking about how you will live now that you are here.

It will turn the tables on those who want to use you, and it will also make of you and your children strong, independent, prosperous Americans. Dear prospective immigrant, embrace these seven principles I have articulated for you and become one of us that is a new race of men on the stage of history, free, who are made one by a constitution, the constitution of the United States of America.
