Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith. And today I want to ask you, what are principles five and six of the 5,000-year leap? The subtitle being A Miracle That Changed the World. From time to time, I dip into this book, just an excellent book, I highly commend it to you, written and compiled by the late Dr. Cleon Skousen.

And the 5,000-year leap chronicles how, in just a brief period of time, relatively speaking, that is the history of the United States under the American Constitution liberated a people to exercise their freedoms, exercise their powers, exercise their gifts in complete liberty, and invent all kinds of things that we use to indeed make wildly economic progress throughout our history and just become the freest, most prosperous, and strongest nation in the world as long as we have followed those principles. And the 5,000-year leap. Back in 2021, I covered principles one through four. And today I'd like to deal with principles five and six.

But before I do, I want to also apprise you of our website, americastruths.org. I have gotten so many questions over the years. Oh, Pastor, I remember a broadcast that you did weeks ago or last year or last month, and I wonder if I can have a copy of it or where can I find it. And I just don't do a good enough job of promoting our website and our podcast website, which is americastruths.org. And there you will find, first of all, just a brief introduction to what the website is and who I am, for that matter, too.

And what we do is we offer my commentaries over the years. And it goes all the way back to 2015. Amazing how long I've been doing this. It goes back all the way to 2015 and just chronicles for you the recorded broadcasts and podcasts that I've had over the years. And what you can do there is also then subscribe to our podcast through Google Podcast or Apple Podcast.

And then also find further what we have in terms of our recorded broadcasts. And we have, for example, our most current one, which is liberty must be learnt. Our founders knew that the principles of liberty do not come naturally but must be taught. And many of you have heard that broadcast. And we have that there for you.

And the subtitle is, Slavery is the Natural Default Setting of the Human Condition. History bears this out. Liberty, which is different from freedom, is the exception and can only be found in the principles of the Bible. And these principles, in turn, must be taught diligently to every generation. And so that's what you'll find when you dial up immediately.

Now, you will also find then a broadcast archive. And if you click that, you will be able to select by year or you'll be able to select by series or you'll be able to select by topic. We also have a preparedness topic, politics. And then also, the book of Revelation. I also did some work on the book of Revelation. Or you may also select by series. I have, for example, one of my favorite sermons I like to preach everywhere I go is called seven Bible verses every lost man knows.

Everybody knows specific Bible verses like judge not that you be not judged, right? Well, I treat of seven Bible verses that every lost man knows. We also have seven great myths of church history. That's another series. Or America's unconscious slide into slavery.

That was one of the most important ones I've done. It's a three-part series on America's unconscious slide into slavery. Many of us are completely unaware that we are sliding into slavery. And slavery is the default condition of the human soul. And only rarely are there bright glistening spots in history where liberty obtains.

And that has been characteristic of American history. But we are fast losing that in America. America's unconscious slide into slavery. I recommend that series to you. Then I also did a two-part series, An Open Letter to the Illegal Alien.

And that was fairly recent too. I also have another series on Christ, Constitution, and Capitalism. Those are the three elements that America needs to return to greatness. Christ, Constitution, and Capitalism. Then I also have a series on a Christian millennium.

Indeed, God has ordained that in the future. Eventually, the world will experience a thousand years of Christian rule, of Christian blessing, of Christian peace, a Christian millennium. That's a series we will find there as well. Then I have another series called The Crusades, A Monument to Myth. The Crusades, A Monument to Myth.

And that is something that we find constantly, don't we? Misunderstandings about what the Crusades are. Then we also have another series that is The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates. That's another important one that you should tap into. A three-part series on how we indeed overthrow tyranny.

We do it effectively, constitutionally, and biblically. The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate. And then, of course, I have another series on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. That's in relation to the Revelation series. So, you will be able to then resource previous broadcasts by topic and then by series.

And then, you will also be able to select broadcasts based on year as well. For example, we have from the recent past, we have Defeating Tyranny, Where Are the States? Some of you may remember that one from a recent broadcast, Defeating Tyranny, Where Are the States? And the description of that series is, under the principle of the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate, the governor and his or her state have the best hope of resisting tyranny. The Constitution was written to serve the states and the people, not the other way around, after all.

That series, I highly recommend to you as well, Defeating Tyranny. Where are the states? And then, of course, we also mentioned the open letter to the illegal alien. And that one, of course, is Pastor Bass continues his appeal to the illegal alien to consider seven principles which help shape America and make it the most free and prosperous nation in history. When this is practiced, we are strong.

But when they are ignored, we are weak. A challenge and an open letter than an appeal to the illegal alien. That's a two-part series. And then I also did a series, a two-part series on the transgender agenda, too. And many of you may remember that one as well.

I got a lot of response on that. The transgender agenda. The transgender agenda is a dead end for America. That's the title. The transgender agenda is a dead end for America.

And the subtitle is a perspective from history. And in this series, then, we look at, in the first episode, Pastor Bass does what very few people have done with this issue. Look at it in the light of history and observe the destructive effects of androgyny. That's the real name for the transgender is androgynous. Oh, it's real name.

Upon societies, the effect it's had upon societies that embrace it. And it always spells the extinction of that society. And then part two was, of course, the transgender agenda is a dead end for America, part two. And Pastor Bass continues to explore androgyny and its background, including its tendency towards violence and aggression in promoting its aims. We see that today, don't we?

Transgenderism promotes violence and aggression to gain its aims and its necessity to predate. Transgenders have a necessity to predate and groom the offspring of so-called breeders, mothers and fathers, breeders, as they contemptuously refer to us. And otherwise, transgenders are incapable of producing the next generation of transgenders. That's why they must predate our children, dear listener. And then we also have, for example, and this is from March of 2023, war or revival, war or revival.

America is poised at a crucial crossroads, war or revival. The war in Ukraine could envelop us in a nuclear holocaust, or the Lord could lead us in the path of spiritual revival, as we see happening at Asbury College in Kentucky. That was happening at that time. And history bears these things out. And the choice is ours.

War or revival. And that was from March of 2023. From February of 2023, we have a brief broadcast called Talking About My Generation. Talking About My Generation. What have the baby boomers wrought?

Oh, this is a reflection on my generation, the baby boomers. I'm getting a little long in the tooth, but I do have some reflections on what we have done to the country. And of course, the description of that one from February of 2023 is, along with the who, who wrote the song Talking About My Generation, we baby boomers thought that we were rebelling against the system and would usher in the ideal utopia. How has all of that turned out? Maybe not like we thought.

Why? And who's responsible? I answer those questions in the broadcast talking about my generation. What have the baby boomers wrought? And of course, then there is my magnum opus, my three-part series on the doctrine of the lesser magistrates.

The first one is the lesser magistrates, the biblical response to tyranny, the doctrine of the lesser magistrates, the biblical doctrine, and the biblical response to tyranny. And the description of that first broadcast from January of 2023, January 8th of 2023, is although unfamiliar to most Christians today, the doctrine of the lesser magistrate is a well-established principle for God's people to resist tyranny, even to the point of armed resistance. Yes, that's included in this series.

And that doctrine of the lesser magistrate maintains that if the superior power, if the superior power is unjust and tyrannical, then the lesser power has the obligation and duty to resist the superior power and has God's blessing for doing so. The doctrine of the lesser magistrate, the lesser magistrate, the lesser magistrates, the biblical response to tyranny.

And the description is for number two, from January 22 of 2023, Pastor Bass continues to explore the doctrine of the lesser magistrate, explaining the lesser magistrate's duty, showing objective standards for law, and showing the intrinsic reasons that the lesser magistrate has a role and is best for overthrowing tyranny. That's from January of 2023. Then February 5 of 2023, I conclude with the third lesson, the doctrine of the lesser magistrates, the biblical response to tyranny, part three. And the description runs.

Pastor Bass continues with several other features of the doctrine, including who should participate in and who should lead armed resistance and the indispensable role of the people in supporting the magistrate when he steps forward. That's a series I highly recommend. It's very pertinent for today. How do we overthrow the tyranny that we are in? And the answer comes through the doctrine of the lesser magistrate.

So that is indeed then a part of that series from the year 2023. But we also have then a series of broadcasts from 2022. And I highly recommend that you access some of those as well. From December 11th, for example, from 2022. Should we grant amnesty to the COVID crazies who afflicted us?

Many are asking for pardon. Many are asking for mercy. Many are asking for us just to put that whole time behind us and forget about it. Don't worry our pretty little heads anymore with indeed holding anybody accountable. Should we grant amnesty, however, to the COVID crazies who afflicted us?

And in particular, the description runs this way from December 11th, 2022. The progressive author Emily Oster wrote an article for The Atlantic entitled, Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty. And what I do then is respond with an answer based upon reason and biblical principle. Yeah. Should we grant amnesty to the COVID crazies who afflicted us during the COVID madness?

And then as well then from December 13th of 2022, another important one. This is one of my favorites, very succinct. And it is entitled, A fourth branch of government has made your vote irrelevant. A fourth branch of government has made your vote irrelevant. And that fourth branch of government, the description runs, a fourth branch of government, the intelligence branch, has been growing like a cancer on the body politic since 9-11.

To keep its power, it must make the vote of the people irrelevant. These are the machinations we see unfolding during the midterm elections. That is from November 13, 2022. That fourth branch of government is indeed the intelligence branch. And it has been a pernicious influence in America ever since.

Well, another series that is important. And it begins on October 9, 2022. You'll find this in our archive. And that is, are you a prepper? The question I pose is, are you a prepper?

And I give some basic principles for prepping as well. And the description runs, prepping for unforeseen disasters and crises has roots in the Bible. Pastor Bass covers the basic of prepping, and I do it from a biblical perspective. That is part one. Part two of that series, are you a prepper?

Part two is, and the description runs, as Joseph prepared Egypt for difficult times, so we Christians must prepare the church for the difficult times coming upon, excuse me, coming upon us. Pastor Bass covers areas like weapons, medical needs, and items for barter, all according to biblical perspectives. Are you a prepper? That series you will find on our podcast website, americastruths.org. And I'm just kind of covering, going back a little ways into our archive, just to let you know some of the things that you'll find there.

So many people ask me, well, what do you think about this? What do you think about that? Well, I cover a lot of this stuff in radio broadcast, and they're on our website. So I'm just encouraging you to go and find some of them. Then, for example, we have another series from August 21 of 2022.

And the title of that one is, number one, How Settled is the Settled Science on Climate Change, part one. How Settled, quote unquote, is the Settled Science on Climate Change. And this one I had a lot of fun doing as well. Very pertinent, once again. And the description here is, Pastor Bass takes up 10 challenges to the so-called settled science on climate change, with reference to scripture on God's creation.

10 challenges to the settled science. And that was part one from August 21 of 2022. And from September 18 of 2022, part two, what is the real agenda behind the climate change crisis? Oh, there is something else than just saving the planet that goes behind the real agenda behind the climate change hoax. And the description runs like this.

The real agenda behind the climate change crisis can easily be shown to be a power elite grab for a feudal-like grip on the world's wealth and power. Owing to the lack of supporting science, it cannot be about the climate, unquote. So what is the real agenda then behind the so-called climate change crisis? And then we also have from August 7 of 2022, we have Reporting for Duty. That's the title, Reporting for Duty.

Is the church AWOL in the culture war? Is the church absent without leave in the culture war? From August 7 of 2022. And the description of that broadcast is, the saying goes, as goes the church, so goes the nation. We need to take responsibility that we, the churches, need to take responsibility reclaiming the nation's culture for Christ.

We need not to be passive, but active in our culture. We can't just duck and say, oh, the rapture's coming soon, and we don't need to do it. No, we need to report for duty in claiming the culture for the church and for God. Then we have another broadcast too. I'm just kind of reviewing these for you.

You may or may not be aware that we have some of these things. So let me describe for you the broadcast that we did in July 24 of 2022, and that is Make America Good Again. Not Make America Great Again, but Make America Good Again. And the description of that broadcast from July 24, 2022 is making America good again by repenting and reforming according to God's standards is a necessary precondition to making America great again. That is our beloved Donald Trump's campaign slogan, isn't it?

Making America Great Again. Well, I posit that we need to make America good again before she can ever be great again. That's from July 24, 2022. Then we also have from July 10 of 2022, a broadcast entitled The Second Amendment, A God-Given Right to Bear Arms. The Second Amendment, A God-Given Right to Bear Arms from July 10 of 2022.

And here the description runs, Pastor Bass establishes a biblical rationale for a citizen's right to be armed, which the Founding Fathers used in part for the Second Amendment. Yes, the Second Amendment is biblically based, dear listener. And then we have a two-part series, which is once again, very important. And I want to conclude with this one. From June 12 of 2022, the new American slave, America's unconscious slide into slavery.

Oh, I am concerned about this trend in America. The new American slave, America's unconscious slide into slavery. And the description goes like this. Americans are increasingly sliding into slavery due to factors like impossible debt, worthless money, oppressive government tyranny, and a servile mentality. Slavery is the norm for history.

Liberty, the exception. We are merely returning to the norm, unquote. Oh, I'm very concerned. The new American slave, America's unconscious slide into slavery. That was part one.

Part two of that series is the new American slave, America's unconscious slide into slavery, part two. And in that broadcast, Pastor Bass continues detailing the reasons why Americans often contribute to their own descent into slavery and do it unawares.
