Greetings. This is Pastor David Bass at New Geneva Orthodox Presbyterian Church with a moment of truth where we challenge you to think through an important issue of life and faith today. What do we mean when we say that Americans are now today subjects of the dog king? The dog king. Most Americans have never heard of this phenomenon and blissfully go about their lives clueless as to how their rulers perceive them and then how those rulers go on to treat us as subjects accordingly. And it's not pretty when a dog king ascends the throne. What is a dog king and what does he represent? Well, a dog king is an utterly incompetent ruler, a fool set up to humiliate the people over whom he is king. A dog king is an index of the contempt for which the real power or powers have for the people that he rules. And it all goes back to an ancient Norse legend. It goes all the way back to the 10th century when Gunnar the Swede, who was nicknamed Bravest of the Swedes. Well, Gunnar and the Swedes relished killing rather than pillaging and they conquered the Norwegians and then appointed a dog as their ruler in the place, right? A dog in place of King Ragnade they put as the ruler of the Norwegians on behalf of the Swedes. And that dog was named Saur, which means excrement. Oh, all the bureaucrats who served this dog had to show respect and obedience on pain of mutilation. The choice became humiliation or mutilation. And the dog king was treated regally with a collar of gold and attendance, a throne and a mansion. And he would sign decrees promulgated by Gunnar with his paw prints. Of course, Gunnar was the real power behind the throne, but he established this dog king in order to utterly humiliate the Norwegians. Oh, it was a laughable on one hand, I think, but deadly serious on the other. Another dog king we can see from history, perhaps you're more familiar with him, and that was Caligula. Born Gaius Caesar, he was raised in the house of Tiberius Caesar and succeeded him. And the name Caligula was a nickname given him by the soldiers around whom Gaius Caesar would play as a little boy. And he would pretend to be a soldier prancing around to the palace in a pair of little boots. In Latin, Caligula. But the cute name betrayed anything but a cute nature. Caligula proved to be a dark, paranoid narcissist, the absolute worst personality type to hold power. Caligula betrayed and murdered those closest to him and trusted no one, held everyone in suspicion and contempt. And this last personality trait, contempt for those over whom he ruled, prompted him to appoint a dog king to the office of Roman senator, and that was his beloved horse, Incitatus. Not only did the people of Rome have to endure the humiliation of having a horse voting on the floor of the Senate, but the other distinguished members of that body had to endure the whinnying and neighing of a horse during deliberations and having to put up with horse droppings on the floor of the Senate. Well, there was also a kind of reverse dog king who was elected in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1958 when the people who were fed up with the utter corruption of their city council members elected a rhinoceros named Kakareko to serve on the council, a rhinoceros. It was a cathartic experience for the people, and it was shaming to the cynical crooks in the city government. Kakareko, the rhinoceros, served a full term, and maybe some people were listening because a national reform movement was born, and certain reforms were enacted soon after. Oh, yes. And then, of course, there was Charles VI of France. Now, this guy was known early on as the boy king because he was only 13 when he was first set up on the throne by his uncles, plural, and the shadowy group of elites who pulled the strings called the Council of Twelve. Sounds pretty sinister, doesn't it? But this is characteristic of dog kings. They always have somebody behind the scenes who are actually making the decisions. Charles would sign the decrees, and he'd go through the formal motions of being king, but it was the Council of Twelve who made all the decisions, and they set policy for France. This is consistent with the dog king. Others are actually exercising power. The dog king is only a shaming figurehead, and although many in the kingdom were not happy being ruled by a boy, and a feckless one at that, they shut up, and they took it, howsoever humiliating it had become. But it soon became apparent, even as Charles grew up, that there was something seriously amiss in his erratic behavior and unstable demeanor. Oh, he soon became known as Charles the Mad. Charles the Mad. And by this time, the Council of Twelve had settled in, and they'd gotten comfortable with their power, and they continued to prop up a humiliating madman as head of state for France. If ever there was an embodiment against the divine right of kings to rule, Charles the Mad Dog King of France is it. Well, perhaps you're getting a sense now for what a dog king is. It is not always a literal dog, but rather the idea that an otherwise normal creature in its own setting is suddenly thrust into the limelight of human government. Human government, the science of which our founding fathers called the divine science. And this dog king is ill-equipped or laughably incapable of performing in the role into which he's been placed, of course. A foolish choice designed to rule over fools. And this last point is crucial. The dog king is meant by those who anoint him to humiliate, to shame the people over whom he holds sway. You are so despised by those who have done this. You are held in such utter contempt by them that they have chosen a dog king to rule you. And importantly, there's nothing you can do about it. Oh, here is true injury added to insult. This is why I say we are being ruled by a dog king. In fact, we are ruled by a pack of dog kings. First of all, Joe Biden, the commander in briefs. Yes, the commander in briefs himself, the soiled briefs for that matter. The commander in briefs. Is there a more degrading, humiliating man who has ever held the office of president in the history of our country? So incontinent is he that this meme circulates among his White House staff. The question is, is Joe okay for his press conference? And the answer comes back, depends. Depends. Famously, his meeting with the Pope had to be delayed while they changed his diaper, which he filled on the way to the Pope's chambers in the Vatican. The 25th Amendment to the Constitution makes ample provision for removing an incapacitated president from office. Grover Cleveland, for example, had cancer surgery, and he was kept from public view during his long recovery. Woodrow Wilson suffered a stroke in 1919 that devastated him. And in retrospect, he should have resigned and retired. But his wife, Edith, and his cabinet kept this fact a secret. And she functionally ran the office of president in his stead thereafter. And of course, Dwight Eisenhower suffered a heart attack in 1955, as well as several intestinal surgeries, all of which incapacitated him for long periods of time. So the nation perceived the need for a clear procedure in ensuring a functional executive unambiguously in charge. Ergo, the 25th Amendment ratified in 1967. And it provides that if the vice president and a majority of the cabinet notify Congress that the president is incapable of functioning in his office, then the vice president will assume the duties of office. Well, where are these people when we need them, huh? You may remember that the political hacks in Congress, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, were so intent on making their hated enemy, Donald Trump, ineffective that they tried to convince us he was incapacitated and should be removed from office by the provisions of the 25th Amendment. Of course, this political ploy persuaded no one since President Trump was demonstrably vigorous and effective, which is the very feature that his enemies wished to turn aside, right? Where are these crows on a carcass when there's a real nursing home resident loose in the White House in charge of policy and holding the nuclear football? If ever there was an apt and timely need for activating the provisions of the 25th Amendment, it is now. Joe Biden has had brain surgery for two aneurysms in the past, which have finally caught up with him. His speech is continuously slurred and often incoherent. His handlers are always ready to whisk him away from public view on a moment's notice when they perceive he is about to make another verbal gaffe. He slipped and stumbled ascending the stairs of Air Force One on several occasions. He's tripped or fallen on the speaker's podium at various events. In fact, he can barely walk, shuffling towards his handlers who must support and carry him to his destination. Truthfully, Joe Biden should be safely housed in a nursing home, moving about in a walker, not trying to jauntily walk to Air Force One like the vigorous young man he alone imagines himself to be. Many have observed that it is not Joe Biden at all who is really leading this administration and its decisions regarding policy. Over three quarters of Joe Biden's staff are composed of former Obama appointees. All of his policies bear the stamp of his former boss. And Obama really never left Washington, D.C., for example, as all other former presidents do. No, he stayed. He bought a home there and he staffed up with politicals who are in close association with the Biden White House. Of course, this is in perfect keeping with the notion of the dog king, a ludicrous laughingstock out front who, left to his own powers, couldn't run his own oxygen cylinder, much less the office of president of the United States. Instead, there are others, sometimes known, sometimes unknown to the general public, who in reality make the important decisions which will determine policy. The dog king is there merely to perhaps parrot the propaganda the real operators behind the scenes wish to communicate to the subjects, us. So make no mistake about this fact, dear subject, it doesn't matter one wit that the serfs being humiliated know that the clown paraded before them is not the real power in the office. No, it doesn't matter. In fact, it is often desirable for the operators to have this fact perfectly well known by the people. It intensifies the humiliation and it amplifies the people's impotence. You slaves can't do a thing to stop us. You are powerless to do a thing about it. We hold you in contempt. That is what they are saying by installing a dog king in front of our faces, Joe Biden. Can you see the state into which the United States of America has sunk, dear listener? Perhaps you see the reality of the dog king in the Oval Office. Oh yes, that would be bad enough. But we have other dog kings in the kennel, if you will, of government. First of all, Nancy Pelosi, dog queen, we might anoint her, dog queen. This former speaker of the house is a real zombie contender who has earned the title crypt keeper by her colleagues. She is an 83-year-old harridan. That is Michael Savage's favorite descriptor for her. And harridan means a worn-out strumpet, a vixenish woman, a hag, a scold. All of these things do characterize Nancy Pelosi, who from her army of plastic surgeons has had more lifts than Arnold Schwarzenegger's dumbbells. Nancy Pelosi, indeed a dog king, installed over us as Speaker of the House, retired now, but not for long, I suspect. And then there's, of course, dog king John Fetterman, Senator John Fetterman, a senator from Pennsylvania who had a debilitating stroke in May of 2022, which permanently affected his speech and cognitive abilities. Oh, you'd think that would be enough. For any normal person, it was enough to cause one to gracefully retire from public life and let another, who had full capabilities and capacities, take on the challenging task of governing a nation in crisis. But no, such were the driving, selfish desires of Fetterman and the Democrat Party that they ran him anyway. Despite not being able to put together a coherent sentence in his campaign against Dr. Mehmet Oz, the people of Pennsylvania elected him. That is, the people of Pennsylvania elected him. If you accept the questionable results of that election, stolen even as the presidential race was in 2020 in Pennsylvania, this indeed, Congress, or I'm sorry, Senator John Fetterman is indeed exhibit A of the principle. A people get the government they deserve. A people get the government they deserve. And we in the United States of America deserve a dog king. If we accept it, if it is a stumbling, incoherent stroke patient that you want to represent you in Congress, well, then it will be stumbling, incoherent policies you will get to govern your life, dear listener. Behold, a dog king incarnate, John Fetterman. Everyone knows he is an incapacitated rehab patient who is capable of little more than drooling in a shoe if he can maneuver it underneath his mouth. Yet such is the contempt that the ruling elite has for you that they brazenly put him in front of you as a serious statesman of the Democrat party. They know that you know that he is a dog king, but they will not be content until they know that you know that they know that you know that he is this very thing and that they are perfectly content having it this way. Such is the level of contempt that your rulers have for you. And there's not a thing you can do about it either. Oh, and then of course there's dog queen, Dianne Feinstein. Yes, this senator from California stayed long past her day of impact. Many in her own party questioned her ability to actually serve effectively. Dianne Feinstein was hospitalized in 2023 for over two months, but she refused to step down. When she returned, it was obvious that she was but a shell of the already febrile imbecile that she was when she had to take a leave of absence. Yet she continued to take her chair on the Judiciary Committee in the Senate. Senator Dianne Feinstein died in office September of 2023 before too much damage had been done. But she too was a primary example of a dog queen, perhaps a dog queen, an empty pantsuit, if you will. Perhaps you remember the video of her trying to read a script of a piece of legislation, but could not work her way through it and had to be helped by a staffer. How embarrassing, a dog king. Maybe we might make allowances, right? But she was not the real factor in making decisions. There were others behind the scenes who not only made the decisions on her vote, but also wrote her script. Well, another dog king we can identify in Washington, D.C. is, of course, Mitch McConnell. Yes, minority leader Mitch McConnell, Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell, is the longest-serving party leader in Senate history, and he's still there at age 81, despite having fallen several times in 2023, being hospitalized after one of them for a concussion and a broken rib. And recently, if you've seen this video, he drew a blank during a press conference and had to be escorted away from the lectern by colleagues while he stared vacuously into the camera, unable to continue his remarks. He is regularly transported in a wheelchair as well to minimize the risk of further falls. Such is Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell. Should have been retired a long time ago. And, of course, we have to include in this assessment of dog kings, king of them all, Richard Levine. Richard, quote-unquote, Rachel Levine. Now, oh, dear listener, you know you're being ruled by a dog king when a geeky dude is set before you with long hair in a frumpy dress and you're told that he is a woman. Oh, any normal person's first reaction to such a vision of degeneracy would be to recoil in disgust and or burst out laughing. But, no, your handlers expect you. You, dear listener, are expected by this dog king to ignore the evidence of your eyes and believe the sky is red and two plus two is five if told to believe it. Such is the case with Richard Levine, a so-called transgender person who the Biden administration, tripping over themselves to be the wokest of the woke, appointed as assistant secretary for health. Yes, Richard Levine, posing as a woman, is appointed as assistant secretary for health. And the Biden administration is so proud of their trophy to wokeness that they parade him in public whenever possible. Perhaps you've seen the photo of him and Sam Brinton. Now, Sam Brinton, maybe you've heard his name, too, or seen the picture of them together. Sam Brinton is another gay dude who wears makeup and dresses and who steals luggage at airports. And he was the sometime deputy assistant secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition. The longer the title, the less imposing is the actual office. Yes, Sam Brinton, Brinton, excuse me, was the gay dude who was the sometime deputy assistant secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition until he was fired for stealing luggage in airports. Oh, yes. Sam Brinton and Richard Levine were together at the French embassy in July of 2022. There's a famous picture of them together. Take one look at that. It's still online. You can Google it. Take one look at it. And if you haven't seen it yet, you will quickly understand why America is a laughingstock around the world today. But even so, eager to make decadent firsts, the Biden administration soon appointed Richard Levine as the first, quote unquote, female admiral. Yes, Richard Levine is an admiral. They soon appointed him as the first female admiral where he became a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commission Corps. How seriously, dear listener, how seriously can we be taken as a nation when our leaders play pretend while the rest of the world makes real consequential policy? The fact that we are ruled by a dog king and have done nothing about it, dear listener, this is an index of our utter defeat and demoralization and weakness as a people. That battle has been conducted for decades now. And we're finally at a point where the dog king rules us. And it's an index of our defeat, demoralization and weakness as a nation. Many of us, many Americans are not even aware of our predicament. Oh, they go on and on like slugs. Others are perfectly happy with it. They've been so brainwashed and even militantly defend their own personal, moral, spiritual, and political captivity to the dog king. Oh, they say virtually we are slaves to delusion and we love it. We're proud of it. And don't you dare contradict us, right? Those who militantly defend this dog king and their own submission to him and their own slavery to him. Well, dear listener, by the time this happens, by the time we reach this state, you look back over history and you will see that nations ruled by dog kings are generally over by the time it happens. Oh, those nations have spent their historical capital and they will soon descend to where their moral bankruptcy is matched by a financial and political bankruptcy of power. Ah, a loss, a bankruptcy of power, if you will, both at home and abroad. We see that happening in the United States of America already, right? It's been over for us unless something radical intervenes, dear listener. Nations ruled by dog kings are over by the time that happens. They've already been defeated. It's already happening to us and it may well be that 2024 will prove this thesis of the dog king. We'll prove it out. Yes, this is what's ahead of us in an election year in 2024. Will we reelect or allow to be imposed upon us another dog king or will we indeed step out and assert ourselves again? Our only hope really is for a move of God upon the hearts and minds of the Christians in American churches. As goes the church, so goes the nation, dear listener. So what is required, what is requisite, the only thing that will turn this around is a movement of God in the church. The church in America must step forward and reassert herself and take leadership over the hearts and minds and spirits of the American people. We need to pray. Pray that the real king, King Jesus, not a dog king, pray that the real king, King Jesus, will supplant the pathetic dog king that rules the tyranny of America presently. That is the only thing that will turn us around, dear listener, if we indeed are ready to do this. Are you awake to this? Do you see the humiliation that the American people are undergoing in the minds, the hearts, and the attitudes of those who rule us, the real rulers of this country who have indeed installed a dog king over us? Pray, dear listener. Pray, dear Christian, that the churches of America will step forward and reassert themselves and indeed proclaim King Jesus over America rather than the dog king who presently rules the tyranny of America.
